Bisu is rape on Medusa. He is 14-4 on it and two of the losses were to Flash, by.hero is the only zerg to beat him on it(which was just a fluke imo, Bisu was just unprepared).
He is so damn scary on that map, somehow it just suits his style. I doubt Luxury can win against Bisu in his own territory.

Why do people automatically assume Bisu is the best PvZ ever just because he took Daezang's build and did it better?
His losses to by.hero, sAviOr, and ZerO showed his weakness in that match-up compared to PvP and PvT, and his games against HoeJJa in GOM was impressive but showed a weak early game.

Yeah, Tempest has a lot of potential. He just needs consistency.

Tempest can beat alot of people but hes kind of a moron and does dumb shit at the worst time and ends up losing. Stats is a bit different hell put on the greatest games and somehow end up losing. By.sair looked promising but hasnt been heard from in like forever. Firefist...meh...By.Haran..meh maybe? Oh well I picked ktf cause they were 0 pts.
edit: I dont think you need a revamped pvz to beat luxury, I mean if you any good at the matchup, like Bisu is. I mean he beat jangbi and stork..but I dont have much confidence in his zvp, especially after the set with shuttle.

This is why I think KTF will send Protosses against Bisu, rather than Zergs: PvP involves more BO advantages.

If memory serves right.... not too long ago... Bisu practically owned Flash in Medusa map in several ways (1 being that Flash decided to camp and tank himself in for a while....) And also, Bisu has a good chance on Medusa map as well since he has a high ratio of win there.... In any case, like how some people said, this is either going to be a total rape of KTF or SKT-T1 with the first game and the first players on each team deciding the entire matchup..... Bisu or Lux..... at least in my personal sake and opinion, Bisu better win or my fantasy will be ALL IN RUINS!!!!!

Actually, you're right. I'm so used to BeSt having shit PvZ, his PvZ is improving now that sair/reaver, bisu build is becoming less viable.
That whole +1 Archon push is such a microless build that BeSt can totally rape zergs.
I think this is the actual reason why Bisu's PvZ is decreasing in strength, I could be wrong though. My game knowledge isn't huge enough to say too confidently.

The only reason I don't buy this is that BeSt is pretty much in love with sair/reaver, and he fails miserably at it. All of his recent vZ games have been failed sair/reaver (awful shuttle micro) followed up with a cheater-army steamroll.
BeSt really needs an easy 3rd for his PvZ to shine, that means he could be sent out on Andromeda and get the job done.

The only one with excellent sair/reaver is really stork, his precision is scary an unmatched. I know Jangbis shuttle reaver control is also scary, but I dont recall his actual sair/reaver attempts.

Well you seem to be so confident and sure that KTF will win no matter what...... but honestly, in this case, this match does determine all on the first game between Bisu and Lux.... Bisu winning will open up with possible game with Flash where if Bisu can take down both Lux and Flash, it's game, set and match point for SKT-T1.... on the other hand, if Lux beats down Bisu, KTF have to face several stored snipers that's always been in place for SKT-T1 (BeSt, Fantasy, and etc)
The ideal situation for me is to have all Flash, Bisu, iloveoov and BoxeR into the stage and win one battle each or something thus giving my Fantasy a super power advantage with SKT-T1 ultimately winning... that'll show that current rank #1 in Fantasy... hahahahaha....

Yeah, SKT1 zergs are awful. It's no wonder that Bisu isn't doing well at PvZ; it's because of his lack of good zerg practice partners. At least in MBC, he had Saint, who is said to be a beast in practice, but now? He has S2 and Hyuk (LOL?). I really hope he asks zergs from other teams to help him practice because he really can't do a good job of PvZ practice with the zergs at his current team disposal.

Well of course SKT1 can win, I just think KTF is more likely too. The only way SKT1 can win is by taking the first game, in which case they have to take down FlaSh, and avoid a snipe.
It's much more difficult than what KTF has to do to win.

But then by that logic...flash shouldn't be good at any matchups at all before luxury got here. Progamers by all accounts practice with other team's members frequently as well.

Stop right there. I'm the first person who will jump to discrediting Bisu's PvZ, but he is at the very least the 2nd best PvZ in history (pretty tight between him and Nal_ra). While his build orders weren't original, he did have immaculate preparation and a 6th sense about PvZ. He knew where battles were going to happen before they did, he knew just how to press the Zergs buttons to make him annoyed and flustered. Bisu was one of the PvZ icons of a generation and one of the most successful in history.
Despite signs that he is starting to slump (all of his game has holes atm, just that his opponents have sucked too much to exploit them (hi skyhigh)) in his prime he was the greatest of his generation and extremely influential. While it is incorrect to say that currently his PvZ is the best (lots of room to debate, no clear PvZ king atm), it was at one point. With that said... I have mixed feelings about Luxury after his OSL games and then his all-kill. While the only decent ZvP opponent was Jangbi (Stork sucks atm, deal with it fanboys), he did look very impressive while destroying.
Note that on Medusa Luxury has tended to use riskier builds to gain an early game advantage (speedling runby off 2 hat vs stork, 5 pool vs YJ) which tells me he's not comfortable playing straight up on this map. My guess is that Bisu knows this and will play safer than usual (he better). Luxury will also have by.hero's game vs Bisu to study - so bisu is very beatable on Medusa but at the same time Luxury has relied on risky builds to this point...

I'm the first person who will jump to discrediting Bisu's PvZ, but he is at the very least the 2nd best PvZ in history (pretty tight between him and Nal_ra). While his build orders weren't original, he did have immaculate preparation and a 6th sense about PvZ. He knew where battles were going to happen before they did, he knew just how to press the Zergs buttons to make him annoyed and flustered. Bisu was one of the PvZ icons of a generation and one of the most successful in history. Despite signs that he is starting to slump (all of his game has holes atm, just that his opponents have sucked too much to exploit them (hi skyhigh)) in his prime he was the greatest of his generation and extremely influential. While it is incorrect to say that currently his PvZ is the best (lots of room to debate, no clear PvZ king atm), it was at one point. With that said... I have mixed feelings about Luxury after his OSL games and then his all-kill. While the only decent ZvP opponent was Jangbi (Stork sucks atm, deal with it fanboys), he did look very impressive while destroying.
When I said that I meant currently. I don't disagree that he revolutionized the match-up.
But people think "Oh he did the bisu build and beat sAviOr, therefore he is the best PvZ player" while currently that's untrue. It's just the stigma he carries I suppose.

Only the first person is set, so if Lux gets killed in the first game (or if Bisu gets killed) KTF (or SKT1) can choose to pull out another big gun or send a sniper to kill Bisu (or Lux).

but, skt and ktf are teams i really like, most because of their history and great players in past. but, to be honest - if luxury will not all-kill, chances for ktf to win will be really small. actually, against bisu (if lux fails), they can send only flash. and if you remember last games between flash and bisu (gomtv quarters and proligu), you will not give flash big chances.
i pray for really close game with 4:3 score. no matter for whom. but still, skt line-up is soo freaky, i doubt ktf can do it

So true - I have a Mac and with all VLC links working as well as Daum-direct links, I rarely have any trouble at all watching games live.
I use flip4mac to convert wmv streams, works perfect and autoinstalls with the right drivers etcetera.

It lasts for a bit. I remember trying to LR as a new user. In the end I didn't bother. Just slowly build up posts and you won't get the flooding message as often.

Not if you play standard and get scourge first. I meant that Lux's econ is so far behind from 5pool that every mineral cost really hurts.
Now lux spawns some scourge, but Bisu runs away fast enough to avoid losing any sairs. His nat is up now.

Lux has muta out now? He must really be cutting drones to make all these units. Bisu has enough sairs and cannon to prevent too much damage, but his nat is not mining now.

on a side note, Bisu made a mistake by investing 100 gas in a DT, shoudve got archon instead, but lux made good unit transition nevertheless. For I slide moment I thought bisu is back in the game, but just like always, he never saw the mutas coming and relied only on his game sense, made a bunch of cannons infront of his base and none to save his probes, not to mention that his sairs were on red

Could it be to avoid having to send out Best vs Lux on Andromeda if Fantasy were to lose vs lux, since Best should have a better chance at Destination than Andromeda PvZ + Fantasy can always play TvZ on Andromda?

I don't see why skt doesn't play midas tvz on destination. His bio play is so strong they should have prepared him to snipe lux in case bisu lost methinks

Is it even possible to fail at a 5 pool against the standart Forge/Fe?
Your lings will be there before the first cannon is up, you will rape 1 pylon and the forge at least letting the toss back with the need to put 1-2 cannons in his main with no Gateway.
I mean.. 5 pool is probably the *mother* of Cheese/All-In but on 2/3 player maps it seems to be a totally viable built, even if it doesn't really hurt the Probecount it totally destroys the Protoss gameplan and basically puts the game back to a *no protoss fast expansion*-era...

ya lux is real good on andro in general, and zvt especially. plus fantasy's bio tvz isnt nearly as good and andro isnt well suited for mech.
i think best would have a better chance on andro but itd be smarter to send out a sacrifice/cheeser if lux is still up on andro and hold the good player for the 4th set.

Well if you scout it on first location and made an early forge u can get up cannons using probes to block, or if you made 2 late forge, throw up a quick pylon in main and get a cannon in your mineral line waaay sooner than bisu did, and might even get away with 1cannon and then straight 2gates.
If you scout it on the last pos its a bitch defending however

For me it happens when viewing with VLC but it work perfectly with wmv player. Some people have the opposite problem, i.e. only works with VLC. Try the other player and see if it works!

Yeah, with this particular map order, holding Flash until the final 3 maps starting with SCPR will give Flash the best matchups. Not like it matters to him anyway, though.

You can't really count that game as a measure of BeSt's PvZ today. First off, his PvZ has improved tons since then. And more importantly, this is the 3set of a WL match, not the deciding game of his first OSL final.

Failed DT drop from best. Stream died for a sec, looks like 815 took a 6th base and best dropped another DT there, but it only killed 2 drones before dying. Hive going up for 815. Lots of hatcheries....
Storm drop, didnt see how effective it was, dont think it was too effective.

Hey! I just realized - Flash was on 10 win streak against T before today's lost. It seems like an impenetrable barrier for some reason. Leta was on 10 win streak as well before losing to SkyHigh. Yep, flash holds the tvp and tvt record for longest streaks, hes such a baller, he and jd are the only people that have 2 longest streaks

KTF was so unlucky to lose this in my opinion, the two deciding moments of this series was luxury losing his first overlord to photon cannons had that not set him back he would have rolled over best. the second thing was flash spawning cross maps against fantasy. his proxy rax would have destroyed fantasys command center first build on any other position.
yes i am bitter about having both flash and luxury on my fantasy pro league team. and now ill probably drop down from my tied 16th place (fun while it lasted)
BTW I'm not supporting skt any longer i'm all woongjin stars from now on. Free and Zero make my day tomorrow

YEA! Well done, Fantasy. Hyuk also did his job to snipe 815 and force KTF to send out Flash. This match was a perfect example of depth > 2 star players, IMO. True team effort by T1.

As a Zerg fan it's nice to see Lux doing better, but I was really hoping for a better game against Bisu. After cheesing his way through the OSL against much lesser players, I'm starting to get bored with Luxury. That's not how I like to see a Zerg win.
Nice show of depth from SKT though, while at the same time showing KTF's lack of.

And how come they have sent freaking firefist against Fantasy? I guess it is because they don't have a decent Terran other than Flash and the recent trend at Neo Harmony is rather bad for Protoss? But seriously, if they have sent Tempest and he lost I wold be fine. But Firefist?! He's been playing just dreadfully recently...

From what I've observed, Firefist is pretty decent in all matchups, except ZvT, in which he's not just bad, but has displayed some of the worst play I've seen. It can't be overstated how awful he is there.
It's not like these matchups were picked a week beforehand. They had the option to send anybody not already used. KTF coaches find new ways to fail...

I consider him a solid A-class Progamer, but it's too early to consider him for S-class. He's a cut above most progamers, but he's not at the top yet.

What a great series! SKT1 barely beating KTF 4-3. 815 & Hyuk proven they are good for something, not just filling up spots on the lineup.
I think KTF should had sent out Tempest instead of Firefist even though Harmony is decent for zerg against terran mech IMO. Tempest sometimes makes big blunders, but Fantasy's TvP isn't very good so they even out.

The moment, Flash's attack failed, it was Fantasy's game to lose. There is a reason why Flash is 3-0 against Fantasy until today's game. Most likely had Flash went standard, he would had won and he looked very disappointed because of that. You can see it in his face

Flash may be young, but he and Luxury carries his team. Flash won 2 Starleagues and place high in Starleagues multiple times.
Fantasy is considered overrated due to making to the OSL finals once and nothing else. Fantasy has been inconsistent in Starleagues and Proleague games whereas SKT1's Best and Bisu has been winning games on a consistent basis for the team. For overall pro terrans, Fantasy is not at the bottom, but he is certainly far from the top. When S-class terran play, they don't just win, they dominate their opponent. Fantasy does not do that.
