Yea that was a great game. Iris' decision to go 4 dropship may not have been that smart initially but after awhile he really taxed Calm's mulititask and made it close.

Definitely the game of the night....also I'm glad I didn't LR it, since I definitely would've run out of posts. Calm comes back from his disappointing loss to EffOrt due to lack of multitask to come back, and uhh...multitask his way to victory.

<_<

He had great defense HAHAA I JUST SAW TOSSGIRL in defending against Iris' drops everywhere, especially with his great use of Nydus canals to offset the mobility advantage of the dropships. Great play by Calm, and this is definitely the recommended game of the series.

Good job!

Also EffOrt owns.

Eh, Calm was even more sloppy that game, I'm not sure what you're talking about! His greedy play payed off - Iris didn't find the expos fast enough to do anything about them, but still turned it into a good game.

Oh yea Emp - I thought that Calm wasn't showing better multitask but rather that in TvZ, when T drops the onus is on T to have good drops. Clam started having trouble toward the end, when Iris' drops were causing more trouble.

Calm did a great job shutting down the expos of Iris. If he didn't, he would have lost.

It was like Iris doesn't know how to irradiate defilers. He could have cracked Calm's nat easily if he just had irradiated the first defiler after he took out those five lurkers. Instead, he just flew his vessel right by and let like 2 lurkers under swarm stop him.

I am talking about the fact that Iris has sloppy TvZ. Calm being also sloppy doesn't mean that Iris isn't as well.

I want July to move to SKT

That didn't work out the first time, probably won't again.

what happened?

There wasn't really any one reason, it was a combination of factors.

Rumors include (in order of relevancy):
a) tension with Bisu, who had also moved to SKT from MBC
b) poor performance from July
c) being coached by iloveOOv, rival and then-retired.

So what is the history between July and Bisu? They don't like each other or what?

I forgot to mention b.5, that SKT1 wasn't doing so hot either. I don't know, they just don't get along. And if you look at their history of games July is 3-2, but his 2nd win (on blue storm) was a disconnect between Bisu and July with July given the win. If you look at the game, Bisu was so far behind but at the time Bisu was Bisu-unbeatable and if a DT was out the game would have been a rematch. But the DT wasn't out and the win was given to July. And the ones in the Bacchus and Incruit OSL they played each other in the group stages, and then the tie breakers. (Bisu advanced both times; they did not meet in the Ever OSL). They have a close rivalry going.

From here on out, it's speculation:
You can probably also relate it to the fact that Bisu is the PvZ killer who invented the Protoss FE and July is the type of person to go for the 2 hatch hydra cannon breaks or ling all-ins every time and I bet that caused some friction. In the most dramatic sense, it is a battle of styles.
You can't forget that MBC is July's team. He built it from POS, from his own effort. Bisu came in, FE'd his way to victory, and became the face of MBC. I can't remember who was traded first, but I think it was July, and he was forced to leave his team (to SKT1) and Bisu then followed. I bet that was annoying for July. If Bisu was traded first, this point is only marginally valid; July was playing poorly when Bisu was dominate though.

Ah thanks muchos. I had heard July left MBC because he didn't feel they were paying him what he was worth. I didn't know he built the team though?
But Bisu becoming the face of his team would definitely make sense. July keeps winning in the group stages and losing the tie breakers, I would love to see those two in a real b03, bo5.

Oh yea, salary was a big deal too. Forgot about that bit.

He did built it - he was on POS as POS July, which became MBC. MBC was orginally July/Pusan's team. Then started adding all these great players - Notably Sea, Bisu, and Light, using their depth to become proleague winners. They've the home to players like Shark, Ruby, Saint, TheZerg, 910, Hyun, and I'm sure I'm missing some old schoolers. But July was the original big name.

I love how the MBC commentators color coordinate their shirts. Sad that Nal_Ra is among them rather than on the bench. Even B-team Tossgirl gets to sit on the bench.

That Ace match was really good. Not going to lie.
