Kal tries to counter that attack but 3-3 mech is just melting his army.

Well FBH got a huge advantage early game, as Kal did a totally fucked up build (imo that is).
He almost let him claw his way back into the game with not denying expoes in time...but in the end, Kal couldn't afford upgrades as he had to macro all the way, and it proved to be fatal.
Entertaining to watch anyway, many fights (not much of a harass though except early / early midgame).
I recommend!

That was a pretty dull game. Lasted way longer than it should have!
FBH stacked units all game in perfect positions for storm/stasis, but Kal was just running everything in to melt. With Kal's play it should have ended a lot earlier.

I do think however, that Hades handled the ling harass pretty poorly in some scenarios..but who can blame him, that was definitely helluva pressure that Modesty put him under. And Modesty's play was definitely very clutch all the time.

i think stork was ahead until that zealot drop. stork had the men, the combination with templars + reavers, but that 4 zealot drop made him go back and the timing after that was terribly off for stork.

Imo, the big thing was how he possitioned his reavers in that large attack, he flew them into 3 goons and took way too much damage

Yeah, it was even up until the point where:
- Kal takes out Stork's 3rd with the zealots
- Meanwhile Kal is taking his 4th, so he's up 2 bases at that point
- Kal kills one of two reavers at the very start of the large battle in the middle
Then it was an easy walk to victory.

For all the acclaim Best gets as the "PROTOSS MACRO KING", I think Kal is better there. Even in the first game he lost, he was churning out a lot of units despite losing like half his probes through the first 10 minutes.

I just watched the games and wanted to ask a question, isnt it like 2 gates ranged goons + obs > 1 gate fast dark tech, meaning that if the darks do not do any damage the 2 gate goons can trap you in your base if there is a ramp or even finish you when there is no ramp..moreover if you fast expand after the darks who didnt do anydamage, isnt it even easier to lose , I know that stork neven attacked and Kal had time to do whatever, but I was expecting Stork to know these mechanics except if I am not completely off here

If you say that it was July's fault that he scouted a rush and still 12 hatched, then why can't we cite it. July's incredibly inconsistent, god mode someday, and play sucky other times. Pepe did play impressively that series, displaying great micro. However, July is considered to have only one good MU currently in ZvP. But I agree that they should not trade July away, but chill, it's not like he was openly saying how July sucks.

July's ZvZ isn't exactly bad, it's not just A-class any more. He really just needs to work on his ZvT and he will probably be used more by STX (they seem too afraid of being sniped by a terren player).

In a way he is like Free; on a bad day, this guy sucks ass, but when he is pretty much unbeatable no matter what you throw at him. Oh yeah, Modesty's ZvZ, and especially his mutal/scourge control = sick. If this is not a fluke but a demonstration of what he has to offer, Modesty and Calm are more than enough for their zerg lineup. They could even trade July for a terran to backup Hwasin, and get rid of his huge contract in the process. Ok what you said about July is just plain insulting. The guy just won an osl title thats not something you trade away just because hes had an off month. Golden mouse 3 osls thats alot of curse and yeah maby july does not practice so hard for proleague but he JUST won an osl he is still AMAZING and he damn sure is as great of player as ever. ps- do not site the loss vs Pepe, July massively underestimated pepe and even 12 hatched even tho he scouted a rush he had no respect for his opponent and he made an error in judgment. If you say that it was July's fault that he scouted a rush and still 12 hatched, then why can't we cite it. July's incredibly inconsistent, god mode someday, and play sucky other times. Pepe did play impressively that series, displaying great micro. However, July is considered to have only one good MU currently in ZvP. But I agree that they should not trade July away, but chill, it's not like he was openly saying how July sucks.
I was not knocking pepe at all i think he played the series of his life to be honest. July still 12 hatched because of arrogance and a lack of respect for pepe who he flat out embarrassed in the 1st game. He didnt practice as much as he should have for it because he was thinking "pfft pepe" and he paid for it imo. I even think the 12 hatch after rush was to straight up embarrass pepe because no pro would make that mistake without doing it consciously, which is kind of out of character for july usually hes very respectful but there isnt any other explanation, he goofed around. I really want to see july play a late game zvt havent seen one since he beat like sea last year.
