First, he didn't know at the begining if the muta will come or hydras. That's always and unknown thing for protoss fighting a good zerg. So, he could have done sairs risking to get with hydras at his doors, or could have done more templars with the other risk. This is the first guess that toss has to do in order to survive. When the muta were in his base, it was late to make sairs because of scorges, of course. And those cannons die in seconds. This way muta become so cost effective at the beginning that it's impossible for toss not to lose something. Second, he tried to expand too early, I think. I thought it is a good idea to expand while making pressure, but it didn't work. Probably should have stayed in two bases until he had a good army. | ||
