Can't image how long Best had been waiting to pull that one out. Guess he got his revenge and more. | ||

In a short summary: this is a game from Nov 2007, on Blue Storm. Best @ top right, go.go at bottom left. Terran pulls off FE, while Best exps lil later, with gate and robo. Before having reaver ready he faces tank/rine/vult timing rush which leaves both players with little units, but allows go.go, who by that time has 2 fac and vult speed - do probe raids for a few minutes. While skirmishes take place at 1, terran gets 4th fac up before toss has 4 gate and his economic lead is solid, as hes prepared with goliaths for any reaver harass. Few minutes later we experience big terran setup in middle, with 1-2 tanks firing at protoss natural which are killed and replaced a few times. Then go.go just rolls over his opponent. Around time he ggs, go.go builds CC at his nat, around his fighting units. Dunno about Best's reaction, but commentators mention that cc a few times and laugh at it. edit: games today: Best vs go.go - it wasn't close, many will find it boring. Passive terran play, besides one vult drop, dominating toss macro and inability to capitalize it because of terrain. Although Best did nice arbiter recall play. On go.go's side there were nice emps, but he was behind and it looked hopeless. Midas vs Leta - nice midgame tvt, vulture fe at beginning, into center manoeuvre play, late dropships. Watch it if you enjoy decent, not passive tvt with no player having huge edge over other. 2v2 - after failed cannon rush supported by lings, OGN turtled hard. By hard I mean their zerg having 1 hatch 2 sunken and adding 2 more... One sided affair, SKT bruteforces around 5 spread spores with muta etc etc. Cute move by Chal - getting DA couldn't change the result of this game. Very one sided, like game1. Besides excitement during early rush there is nothing interesting here. Hmm, maybe Oov's happy face. | ||
