man... CS is becoming slower and slower these days... when i played... we can bunny hop and the game was super fun.

There are 2 ways to exploit using duck, the infamous is duck-running. Which, imo, has ruined 1.6. Its banned in competitive play at lans and important online events, but that only makes up for 5% or so of the matches people play. Its where you're running, but also tap the crouch when you do it, and you in essence, bob your head up and down. Making it extremely hard to aim and hit your head, since thats all we aim for in competitive cs. It doesnt slow you down when you run, and it even messes up the run sound, making it very quiet. IMO, this is what they were probably doing, and not the 2nd one.

The other way, which isnt really that big of a deal, is duck-jumping, where you do a single bunny hop. Its an exploit in the Half-Life Engine that allows to you do lateral movement in a swing motion, but faster than normal. So you can jump slightly faster and slightly farther. Its done by swinging your mouse as you hop, and landing on a diagonal, then rinse and repeat for the opposite angle, which is just bunny hopping.

Pretty much the only thing legal, is where you tap the crouch key, and you bob your head, while motionless, It allows you to see higher than when your just standing there. Its a weird bug, but very useful in competitive play, since alot of boxes are head height, and you can see over them if you do it.

WOw i just woke up, hoping that finals was savior vs stork, instead savior lost to PJ, i guess this year korea is screwed up but, stork shall win pj since he doesnt needa hold back any longer and his pvp being so solid

I would say good job for the foreigners this year, Korea needs to stop underestimating them even though i believe hwasin coulda gotten to finals if it weren't for the brackets

That translator was HORRIBLE. He garbled quite a bit and some stuff PJ said he didn't even bother saying (cause I guess he couldn't translate it or something?) PJ actually said that China still has a long way to catch up to Korea but he believes that they have a good potential to do it. Also regarding the #2 spot, he said that because other countries have already done it, he doesnt' feel China is necessarily weaker especially so it's bound to happen sooner or later.

I would've wished it was Hwasin vs Savior for finals (would've liked to see more games from them) but oh well, none of my predictions came right about this WCG so =\

you have to give PJ credit. with everyone trying to cheese the koreans like crazy, PJ played straight up with confidence and believed he could win. watching those games it wasn't a fluke. yes savior didn't play that well (and probably underestimated PJ) but PJ was great. good decisions, macro, strategy, execution.

it felt like watching a pro match between relative equals when i was watching it, not an inferior player trying to luck a win against a superior player.

yes i know if they played again savior would probably win, but PJ, all the chinese fans, and everyone who wanted a foreigner to make an upset can cheer.

The translation is.. mehh. I realize it's an impromptu interview without prepared answers/translations, but I think he missed a few things.
