Thing is, cs, especially on lan, is just sick fun to play. 5ms ping, your team who you've been friends with and playing together for years sometimes, all next to you, playing in a non cheat environment for shit tons of money. Man, just doesnt get much better. CS is one of those games where with lower ping, the better the shots register... it would be the equivilant of your goons missing, like on cliffs, when you play from home, vs goons hitting all the time. Thats how huge of a difference LAN cs can be. Its not really meant to be played online across the country, competively i mean. Ive been out of the scene for awhile, i went to a cpl, and about 20lans for CS, i used to be highly competitive, but life catches up. Its also a new trend and a big deal in 1.6, everyone crouch walks now. Its a bug they exploit that allows you to duck and run at the same time, hence bobing your head up and down, makes it extremely hard to hit the head, since thats all we aim for in competitive cs. It also ruins the sound you make when you run. So yea, because of this i quit, but you cant do it in competitive cs, like lans and important online competitions, but they do it 100% of the time outside of that, so for the amature/non pro, it just sucks. CSS isnt bad either, thats my 2 cents | ||
