- Added Rule - Clan: Leaders and Players point 4 BWCL Season 49/Rules to make sure Leaders know the Bnet account of the players they are recruiting and help to avoid multiclanning.
4. New, unknown players have to have played at least 10 ladder games before to be recruited, in any case the name must appear in the leaderboard.
- Fixed playoffs/out formats in case of disqualified teams.

FORMAT - SCHEDULE
- Double round robin (each Clan meet twice).
- Clan League matches take place once a week; the default time is Sunday, 18:00 GMT (+00:00) .
- Default channels are respectively: DIV-A, DIV-B, DIV-C, DIV-D at Bnet-EU
- The time and channel for a Clan League match (or a single set) may be changed by mutual agreement of the Clan Leaders involved, as long as the War is played before the actual play day. In this case the BWCL administration has to be informed by posting in the pre-postponements discord channel.
- The CW format is four 1v1 and one 2v2, all best of 3. No player may play more than one 1on1.
- The line-up MUST be submitted before the 18:00 GMT (+00:00). Failure to do so, may opponents claim a walk over victory. In any case submitting line-ups after the time limit imply -2 point penalty.
- If the opponents team does not show up, a walk over may be requested by the team leader. If a team lacks players for single sets, a walk over for the set can be requested. Every walk over request should be posted in the according topic along with a Screenshot of the channel; include the /whois information for proof.
- A walk over can be requested if a team/player misses to show up 15 Minutes after the scheduled time.
- Single sets can be postponed if both teams agree. It is the duty of the teams to play out the missing sets within 48 hours after the scheduled war.
- Replays have to be submitted in the proper discord channel.

- How can I submit the line-up?
You must be a Squad Leader, Admins provide a special link to sub line-up.
- What if I do not submit the line-up in time?
Opponents may claim a walk over victory, in any case your team receive -2 ladder points, so make sure not to fail in this point.
- When and where do I have to play?

- When can I recruit new players?
You can recruit new players at anytime, even 5 min before the start of the CW. New players have to be announced at discord roster-changes channel. This rule is not valid for playoffs. The unique restrictions are:
- new players have never played in the current season for another team.
- new players must appear in the leaderboard.
- How can I join at Discord BWCL server?
You must participate in the League.
Only Admins and Team Leaders can create instant invites, so contact them.
- Can I change team?
Absolutely no. Once the league is started you can't be recruited by other teams. You have to wait the next season.

not a single ladder map from this season.
really sad tbh cuz pool could be improved with power bond instead of white out(i will really like to know who is voting that crap) and gladiator instead of eddy.and with sylphid on it it actually could have a lot of potential.all in all another season with maps that no one really know and cant show best play.

Well.. there's four divisions, 6 in each, wich means 24 teams and every team has around at least 10 players. Not all of them plays ladder day in day out. Many play random maps because SC is not all about winning to them. 
Anyways, now everyone got the chance to vote, and in the end 47 players out of around 300 registered voted. We'll just have to respect that.

2 of my best players are thinking of dropping stpl because of the map pool in that league...
Really hope that doesnt happen in bwcl too :c

I've always been able to play any map without too much struggle, assuming no weird stuff like Blockchain. Most of the game isn't map specific, I'd not have any issues playing regular ladder maps most the time and playing another random map in a one off series.

I'm unfamiliar with only 1 map: Atlantis. Also you basically have FS and CB in the map pool. Other maps are pretty standard too. The map pool is great.

When it comes to Power Bond and Whiteout.
Many of us "less good" players who don't spend hours everyday playing ladder, have played Whiteout for a whole season of CPL (four months from april to august). Wich comes natural that most of us vote for Whiteout since we know it far better than Power Bond.

Not many... it's 3 complaints out of 300 players registered. It's even less than a fart in space. xD
Also, Face asked all leaders in BWCL if there was any last disagreements after the vote before going public with the mappool, and there was only one complaint there as well out of 24 captains.

First of all it’s faces league, which he organizes and handles very well every season without asking anything back from the community and he does it so you guys can enjoy a team league for free. He can pick any maps he wants. These maps are not even bad I looked them all up, a few of them are already used professionally and the unknown ones look pretty standard and decent as it is. Why cry about maps when they’re already pretty good in a fun league that has been proven to have a good reputation. You guys still gotta bitch about something I guess

That sucks, but I've yet to see a game from you guys where someones lost because of the map. I know Tech visibly complained at the end of his last game, but the map didn't lose him the game - it was super close but in the end he'd just lost too much over the course of the game.
Comparatively this map pool is super conservative as well.

No one is saying he's not handling it well.
I think everyone appreciates the fact that he continues to run the league smoothly and professionally. Kudos to him.
This isn't about any of that though. In comparison to prior seasons the map pool is significantly better, yes, I can admit that. And I know these results won't change, so I will take it as a win. Improvement is improvement at the end of the day.
But there's some flaw when you have CPL players making the majority of the vote =\

It's not about adaptation. I think eon's point is more about practicing less maps across the different leagues and ladder so that your practice is more meaningful. Plus, I would argue that eon can obviously "adapt" given that he has quite a good win ratio in every league, so it's not about adapting at all.
