I should be ok to reguster like on the 3rd or 4th right? Out of pure laziness.
BTW 1 game a day vs a player with specified hours is fucking retarded. I hope you were not behind that decision MNM.
don't blame the messenger. i don't make decisions. i just get information. where did you get that 1 game a day vs a player thing?

Will they be releasing VODs? Also who will be commentating if anyone

you can register for north/pacific right now. dont know the deadline.

Re: Day vs Scorpio for the finals!!
The first online qualifier was set to you only being able to play the same person once per day. If there are a lot more people registered for the second qualifier, the rule might change.
Also, registration ends 1 day b4 the start of the qualifier, so don't wait to sign up.

Guys, where will the New York games be played? I searched online and couldn't find an address anywhere. Went to some digilife tournament a year ago or so and even though I got wiped out in Frozen Throne I still had a good time. So would be cool to check out the games since I can get there easily.
Any help will be appreciated

Hi Ryan,
I forwarded you an email I sent to Jordan with a few questions. Thank you for your interest in the Teamliquid community!

That's the same place GGL did the Trans Atlantic finals, it's a small section, but nice. Actually a perfect spot for the US Open, since not a lot of gamers will be there when compared to the USA Finals.

What the heck is the Player Spectator thing? oO
On May 31 2007 19:25 DirtyBirD wrote: What the heck is the Player Spectator thing? oO Hey DirtyBirD, the Player Spectator, or rather WCG spectator application, is a program developed by eSportsTV to help bring you the latest video coverage live from WCG (for this event all content will be in video on demand format). The program can handle lots of different operations and will be made available for download via http://wcg.esportstv.com/wcg.htm tomorrow afternoon. Once I get confirmation that the program has been made available for download I will make an announcement on these forums, as well as http://www.eSportsTV.com. If you have any further questions let me know at ryan.helms@esportstv.com

So where are the regionals gonna be?
And who qualified from the 1st online tournament?
Thanks im curious because i qualified for cnc3 ( not starcraft )
ya anyone have an update on how many go 2 regionals and where/when they are?
Apparently none of the regional locations are being announced until after the second online tournament is complete.
do we need WCGzone to play this ?
info c/o esportstv guys regarding wcg spectator client:
The WCG spectator client will be available for download tomorrow evening (Friday). I don't have an approximate time yet. The coverage kicks off officially at 12 PM EST. Coverage includes the following: every hour there will be a live onsite update that will go over results, quick interview snips with the players and what's coming up in the next hour. In addition to the updates, every other hour there will be 3 "eSportsTV Match Break Downs" released. Basically those are matches cut down into highlights with play-by-play commentary and in-depth analysis provided by the opponents themselves. This provides a first hand account of what the players were thinking. Viewers at home will get a chance to explore the player and some of their signature strats. The event coverage is "delayed live" meaning everything is about an hour delayed. It'll be available in on demand format. The infrastructure at the event isn't suitable for a live broadcast, so this is the best option.
(Hopefully I can do live coverage via tl =] ign style. just in case i cant can i call someone to type stuff in for me?)

what time is the open, go red_scorpio!
check in at 11am! well, some say 10am but i am guessing people will be there at 11am =).
anyone wanna make bets w/ PS on who wins??? i'll take odds on players or we can split it even i get 1 player u get 1 or each pick 2 even any kind of bet post if ur interested
do u have 2 DL the player or is there streaming on the site or soemthin
Hello everyone, as far as the player goes - you can either download it or you can check the website event page http://www.esportstv.com/newsite/?p=events&id=610 for just the video coverage. Downloading the player is more beneficial in the long run for those who plan to keep up with all of the WCG US Open stops this year, but if you're simply curious about this event checking the website link listed above may be the easiest manner of doing things.
Just so everyone knows here, there will be a delay in coverage for the WCG US Open 2007 NYC event due to onsite internet issues. As soon as this is solved the event and coverage will resume as scheduled.
bets anyone????? i'll even take artosis w/ odds lol someone bet me !
red_scorpio i think gonna win .. he seems the strongest of the 4

GOGOGO ARTROSIS!!!! make papi proud =]

i downloaded the spectator player but all the only thing playing are 20 second clips and nothing about starcraft. can somebody point me in the right direction here?
i assume no live reports or streams? or am i an idiot and missed something?
EDIT: ahhhh nvm it's the latter
More VODs will be up tomorrow morning and throughout the day. The internet was out at the Time Warner Center all day, so hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow. Also, StarCraft doesn't start till tomorrow either.

why is it saying on air though? I'm guessing it doesn't mean live streams only the spectator program?

NonY can take LG, he's been really good in PvZ lately =D!
the finals in orlando im guessing will be held off of I-drive somewhere
so what does the winner of this actually receive?
haha artosis didnt make it, whats he going to do all summer?
Probably the same thing he would've done if he won, which is play more Starcraft.
The 2nd wcg usa qualifier is coming up on the 7th, so he'll be playing in it.
Registration for the 2nd qualifier is closed, so whoever waited to register, is out of luck.
Just got back from the event
Pretty fun
where do you get the reps
So does anyone think that LG wasn't trying his best at this event since he can still qualify top 2 at his regional in August?
He either got owned by his opponents to hide his skill, or he wasn't active. Everyone else was pretty prepared for this, so maybe LG has something up his sleeve, we'll see what happens in Orlando.
OMG,,,,,, blizzard sucks at handing out information -_-;;; everyone knows USA finals are in orlando but where in orlando...I hope its like downtown disney 8x

The registration was closed earlier today, (Sunday), it might of been re`opened since we had to get rid of all the wc3 players who registered thinking it was for wc3 and not Starcraft.
And yes, someone could've helped, but now you can submit a support ticket and see if you get a response in time.

So the WCG finals are in Orlando. Anyone have information about where this will happen and how one can go see it? ...or IF one can go see it?
I've been watching all the Korean based tournaments for so long that I didn't realize there'd be some interesting play so close to me (should be living in Orlando by September). Was just wondering how the Florida locals go about viewing this tournament, or if watching VODs was the best/only way.
...I've been reading above, so despite being new to the forums, I think I'm asking some unanswered questions... And it'd be pretty awesome going to the convention center, if that's where it is, and seeing a Starcraft tournament unfold...
