Such good games. BW is truly a beauty to watch. So many back and forth tactical manoeuvres. So many skirmishes happening everywhere all at once. Feels like a real 'war'.
I love SC2 too, but it doesn't give me the same chills and excitement as BW.

i dont get what is so weird about larva vs last gg timing and i only saw the game through last's fpview.... 3rd base of larva gets delayed in midgame.... larva gets dropped with mnm, loses drones/lings and the pool. Shortly after, the 2 vults in bottom right resulted in larva bringing all remaining lings in 3rd to stop the harass, but he lost all lings and only managed to defend with lurkers after losing many drones. Larva is remaking pool and drones and trying to "attack" with few lurkers, but with no lings, 2 of them walk into mines and a 3rd one gets spotted on top path. Next vult drop in main kills more drones with lurkers home to defend. Random hydra killed the vults. Larva is out of lings, not that many drones and basically only has lurkers, when Last attacks bottom right with vessel/mnm/vults. he irradiates 3 lurkers + defiler. does not lose any vessel and manages to runby with vultures. there was only 1 defiler who just used his energy to survive and no units to stop the vults whatsoever. theoretically, larva can use nydus at 3rd to save all drones while bringing the lurkers from nat to barely defend the 3rd again. but still 3 vessels vs 1 low energy defiler. Last on 4 base, untouched eco, complete map control, lots of vultures and mines vs Larva with fewer units than there are vultures + getting reduced to 2 base mining + most likely not even having overlord speed or drop.

no, mass ultras were not a mistake, he was wasting them too much in beginning and generally made them too late. (muta switch before that). Also i would have liked earlier 5th/6th bases, because the map is fs and not grandline. last just out expanded him and zero didnt get a 5th base when his lurker/defiler harass was working really well. I just dont like zero's style on fs.

If you don't gg 10 minutes after you've lost the game you're doing it wrong. Larva quit too early instead of dragging it out
larva would have lost to vulture only from that point on..... i recently saw best getting ahead vs sharp on CB and only made zealots for 3-4 minutes until best won.... so many zealots.....

The gg itself was logical after Last's display but the timing if the gg just felt weird. Like a piece of wood breaking while only half-way through sawing it.
After skimming through the comments i also became puzzled what is that Larva gg timing you guys were talking about as i didnt watch the games but if what Baku says is true then it's pretty normal. Recommendantions for the games anyone?
