eonzerg you say eddy is a map you would not like to repeat. I dont know what you mean by 'repeat'. But I will assume you mean it is a map you would not like to play. Thats fine, but do you like Neo Jade more? Do you like Neo Moon Glaive more? If so can you explain why please.

It means played it, i didnt like it at all Jade is a map that fits my style of play and give u many options,it also helps afreeca progamers are playing on it and giving fresh info, about moon cant really tell much,im always for new maps and im not someone that bitch every map i can,im telling u what i think after play eddy.
Thanks for the clarification. It is confusing to me that a person can find neo jade fits their style of play and gives many options while at the same time Eddy doesnt. Because I think Eddy plays similarly to jade and I think Eddy gives more options lol.

The island expansion changes much. That, and the mineral only, make it so that Protoss and Terran don't have to take a new set of main and natural bases as early, but instead become able to secure four bases and a mineral only within 25% of the maps surface.
PvZ on Neo Jade basically comes down to whether or not Protoss can take and hold a new spawning locations bases. If he can, he wins. If he can't, he loses. Eddy has some of that. If the game goes on long enough, Protoss will have to take a new main, but it's much more fluid, less binary, and Protoss can play from only his natural expansions for much longer.
I have played a bit of PvZ on Eddy against Naugrim, who is a decent player. The games were interesting. I made use of the island expansion in many of them. I support introducing more complex maps that add more options, and unique problems for players to solve. Maps are a large part of StarCraft. Figuring out styles against the various races on different maps is fun. Eddy is one such complex map. There's a lot to it. Many ways to attempt to solve the problem. A lot of diversity in viable styles- I enjoy minimalistic maps like Jade, too, but Eddy simply has more than Jade has.
We don't need to play on one kind of map only. The races are well rounded enough to allow for some map diversity without sacrificing balance. There are limits, but Eddy is well within those limits while still being significantly different.
I'm sorry that I didn't alert an admin. I had to rush away, and thought that I had only signed up - not checked in. I sincerely apologize and will try to not do this again (if a similar situation occurs).
Thank you for organizing these events. You deserve better behaviour than mine.
