I read a statement from OGN and the mapmakers or the likes that the new maps were supposed to address the TvZ imbalance problems we'd been seeing from the last season, yet 13 terrans qualified on those very maps they called imbalanced. Thus we now have a season with 13 terrans on terran maps. ![]() Savior got his work cut out for him.. 5/6 FBH not on fire, fancy that.

Also I believe progamers' APMs show more about their playing style / habbit rather than their speed. Like some might prefer to spam or hotkey really fast to keep their momentum, while others prefer a moderate speed to ensure accuracy and time for thinking etc. Because if APMs really make a considerable advantage, players like Oov or Savior would never let their APM under 300 like that. Think about it, they're playing 10 hours a day guys. if they want to have a 500ish APM they surely can practice to have it. Cos even amateurs can have 500+ APM with way less practice time and devotion. I believe it's all about their habbit / playing style. Therefore that APM indication after each match means absolutely nothing to me, except to compare it with their own APM in other matches.

The players train on those maps every day and know about imbalances on each map. they ake strats to avoid this and if they don´t they are training the wrong things. I really don´t like it that people allways complain about maps and imbaness... Players should do some unexpected moves. The maps are just imba when everyone plays standart.

You don't know what you're talking about and ought to shut up before you embarass yourself further. Take Longinus II for example. In this OSL alone we're 8-1 TvZ. The old one wasn't any better.

I do not want to start a fight. Nada sometimes does hardcore extreme micro. However SC is not apm game, if one player has higher apm, that is not auto loss for another. There are more important aspects of SC like strategy and execution which are crucial for win. I am just saying high apm can be helpful sometimes, that is all. Back in the day when Ra was the hottest player he had like 160-180 apm.
