His first mistake was to play against Flash. It could only go downhill from there

Effort, when Flash switched to mech, simply got stuck in his base for the remainder of the match. I do not think there was really a "end battle" but Effort knew he couldnt get out and that Flash probably had every other base. I was actually pretty impressed with Efforts hidden base play and how he (relatively) was able to hold off the slow aggression at his main and natural.

I'm glad he decided to halt and keep containing instead of committing the rest of the marines in. The bio contain + map control allowed him to safely expand, reinforce the contain with a mech transition and eventually starved Effort. Without map control Effort couldn't see what was coming (mech) and could only hold on to his 4 bases (5 in the end but it was too late anyway) barely with swarms. Had Flash risked losing more marines to try to get a quick finish the situation might have turned out undesirable as Effort could have had an opening to regain map control.Flash attempted the quick kill with bio, but eventually got turned back - it was close at times. I disagree. He may have wasted some money, but it looked to me like he was going for something similar as he did in game 3 of the KA OSL; mind game over real game. Burrow>Force scans after faking like it's a Muta build>Less scans to deal with Lurkers>Spire to snipe SCi-vessels with scourge>Ultra fast hive to compensate for smaller numbers. Awesome game. Too bad it didn't fly for the Messiah =\ His real mistake was not taking the nat instead of the main in the south, which slowed down his expanding by a touch. Phenomenal reactions by Flash, feel like any other Terran would have fallen apart against something that cerebral.

For one Mind had seen Horang's army and where they were because of mines while Snow had no idea where Stats' army was at all and had just moved in at the best timing possible, whether you call that luck or not is up to you. Second, Horang SAW all those goliaths and still didn't pull back for several seconds, costing him way more carriers than he should've lost while Stats pretty much instantly pulled back the moment those dragoons appeared and yet still wasn't fast enough. While Stats could've definitely prevented it by not moving his shuttle at the same time as his other control groups as the shuttle is way faster, you can't say luck wasn't on Snow's side when he went in. But Horang just basically crumpled under the pressure after setting off all those mines and just wasn't paying attention at all. At 14:49 you can clearly see that Snow's observer spotted Stats army trying to cross the bridge, being out of position, including the shuttle. What's this about Snow attacking blindly and luck being involved? That was great scouting and decision making.

Either way, wasting an in-game advantage for a mind-advantage isn't worth it, especially in a Bo1. Burrow scouting around the map wasn't a bad idea, but he was too far behind from the beginning on. Also, you shouldn't take the nat as a third. It's too hard to defend against MM balls. Main ramps can be defended with 2 lurkers.

Stat of the day: With that win Mind earned a 17-4 record (counting prelims) TvP over the last year. His losses: BeSt, Stork (x2), Kal. For those of you keeping track at home, that's over 80% wins.

Yeah. I don't think I can call Flash S-class anymore. lol this joke. Flash is now G-class ( God ) This joke has gotten really old, might want to drop it at some point, you know? audience after watching flash's game: "how do you win that?" "ridiculous" "he really is god" Wish I would have been there... If Flash really succeeds in getting the 100% win rate, they should make a movie about him. This is so crazy... You can't help thinking that it's impossible to achieve a 100% win rate, but what's even crazier is that if you think about it some more... you don't put it past him to actually do it.
