EPTMixed feelings about Reality. His early game is amazing. Seemingly flawless decision-making. control, macro. His early push at Shy's 3rd was brilliant. But his 200/200 pushes tend to look like all Samsung Terran pushes. Which is to say it's quite bad. If that had been a more experienced toss, I think he would've lost despite having a huge lead for the entire early game. He really didn't have to wait for the 2/1 upgrades and pushed before Shy had his gateway count up.

It took him a while to get to 200/200 after Shy got to 200/200 even though they had very simlar economy. | ||

Perhaps, but he is pretty much a rookie and under severe pressure as it is the make or break match for the day, so he should be fairly nervous, will maybe go away with experience. | ||

If you make vultures, it just take longer for you to max than if you turtle with tanks/goliaths. And Shy getting to 200 is because protoss would rather spend money on expos and gateways rather than units at that time. So it's actually BAD that Shy got to 200 quickly. | ||

Shy got to 200 at a normal pace, he just couldn't get any expo up because reality denied his 4th over and over. Reality was behind in the timing in hitting 200. If it was flash, he would of gotten that 200 mark much faster than reality and would of moved out before shy's economy stabilized a bit. | ||

Watch this game and watch Flash vs Jangbi. Watch their harass and push potential mid-game. Reality couldn't maco like Flash because he made and lost a dozen vultures to limit the 4th. He also had tons of vultures to lay mines in order for his tanks to kill Shy's third. Neither of which would've been possible with Flash's build. On the flip side. Look at how slowly Jangbi maxed out. That's because he was busy making gazillion Nexuses and gateways at the other main rather than macroing up an army. Of course it doesn't matter with Flash because his push itself is so terrifying that he doesn't care to do all that crap beforehand. But as I pointed out, Reality's push was quite mediocre. And he won mostly because his advantage was so big and Shy isn't at Bisu/Best/Stork/Jangbi's level of PvT. | ||
