It's not hard to cover that area, and by taking that expansion it also gets a lot easier to protect against recalls. 2 base pushing is very effective on top of that. Python is one of the easiest maps to play TvP on, as long as you can defend early protoss aggression. It's very open, so vulture harass is pretty effective, and the short rush distance makes slow pushing a lot easier. The compact base layout also makes it really easy to defend against reavers. I think I'm too good for this though (although I've never actually technically laddered to or above D+ for some reason) despite a huge break from BW. But I hope it turns out to be a fun event with no retard smurfs. | ||
