Othello is actually a good map, though I personally dislike it. As is Blue Storm(though I like this one).
nono, i'm happily playing this and agree with w/e maps the administration comes up with (its "their tourney" after all). Just saying there is a reason why old maps are not used anymore, and that it would probably be better to use current maps for further rounds.

Would it be possible to have highly knowledgeable casters co-cast alongisde rD.Sayle like last time? Sayle is an epic caster and he would be complemented well by a gosu or two or three.

Would've been cut for lack of replays but thanks for the heads up.

I'm not sure about map age relations with Zerg vs Terran, but I'm sure it messes those matchups up too. Moreover, some maps like Python and Longinus don't even support the current meta game (You can't really forge FE on Python...even pros have been 1 basing on it with BNET Attack) and Longinus is too small and the expansions are completely different. And a competent Terran should have adapted to old maps like Fighting Spirit, Match Point, Benzene, etc...to the point where its disadvantageous for Protoss. I very much doubt any of that applies at the level of play we're going to be seeing in this tournament.

In order to give leniency to those who actually have legitimate reasons for not sending in their replay packs on time, I am re-drawing the deadline per week to Thursday 2359EDT. This is unfortunate for the Day 1 players, as they have roughly 9 hours and 20 minutes to send in their replay packs. Other than that, per week players will have until the deadline. For those who don't understand, it's so we can check your replays thoroughly for any kind of abuse.
In case of missing replay packs by the deadline, the groups will be re-randomized. For day 1 so far Group 1 has started and have all of their replay packs turned in, as well as Group 3 having all of their replay packs submitted. Therefore, they will stay the same. The remaining players will then be re-randomized and those groups will be released mid-Friday, giving you around 24 hours to practice any new match-up and study your opponent.
Players: Please take note of this post so come your day to play you don't cause unnecessary commotion amongst other players.

Read the post below yours for #1 and #2.
#3: I think you might get warned the first time and get banned the second. In my experience though, if it's funny/witty the TL mods appreciate it just as much as anyone else.

Can you just re-randomize the new people who drop/enter into corresponding groups? I don't want to have to re-adjust my practice b.os already if my group switches to protoss and zerg.

No. I am not enterting new players except for when someone transfers their stats.

Has someone talked to pholon (or any of the mods) about getting this on the calender yet? It really should be.

Wouldn't that counter the agenda of phasing BW out in favor of Starc2?

Please read post #2 and post #70. I will be re-randomizing the groups tomorrow and then submitting a proper calendered event.
@andrey... have you ever... ever... EVER said something positive in your life about anyone?

It wasn't a matter of wondering what the lineup was, I just wanted to see it on the calender.

The lineups will be on the calendered event... Anyway, I submitted it less than an hour ago. Thanks for reminding me by the way
