Major came into this game very well prepared. I bet he had experienced the base trade situation in practice before, which was why he handled it so brilliantly.

Im not sure if it was sarcasm but its a bad one if thats the case. JD vs Z has been awful so in case they face each other its quite possible killer takes JD out. Flash TvZ isnt a problem so....
Geez, I hate so much these noob zergs that qualify with such strategies. And to top that, they BM. Can't wait for times when 3 maps out of 4 in map pool will be island map.

People seem to forget that this is all part of the players keeping themselves more unpredictable. Killer has also an amazing zvt late game so why not incorporate more aggressive openings aswell.
Is 7pool safe cheese or something? It seems to hit the terran at a very vulnerable timing and apparently gives you enough minerals to expand too. Maybe it only works when the zerg spawns at the bottom on a map like Gladiator.

Killer's drone block sealed the deal I think.
Sure, sure, but I think he would have managed to take care of the depot without the drone block, the marines would have spawned on the outside of the wall, afaict and then we would have seen a repeat of Flash vs. JD with major having to make another rax etc.
There's no need to flame Killer like some of you do.
I am really happy to see him advance so easily. A year or two ago he was the laughing stock of Hwaseung because he was sent out as the ace player in PL instead of Jaedong, Hiya, everybody else and got crushed all the time. Im sure he got his share of flames back in those days for that reason.
Now he seems to be going really strong, so he certainly worked hard on his weaknesses. And it pays off. That's a very professional attitude I see from him.
He still isn't as good as Jaedong, he has many small flaws in his play. But his mindset and strategies resemble Jaedong quite well in my opinion, so I am totally looking forward to what this guy can achieve in future games.

Killer is not mediocre. He's the next Jaedong.
Killer is like Jaedong multiplied by Dirichlet function. Depending on what the Dirichlet function out of the current date is, he can be either Jaedong-like or play like he first time sees this game. TT
What are these haters on Killer? He showed one excellent game against a top ZvT'r, then just pushed aside a noob in another game. He's allowed to show a bit of swagger with the hatch, and it was a skillful drone block that won him the game too for sure.
