That said, I don't doubt Hydra will come out with guns blazing. Depending on Flash's condition, I'd call it a 3-1 Flash (if he's on terminator-mode) or 3-2 Flash (if he has trouble with his wrist in the middle of the series). Simply can't imagine Hydra winning this because so far his ZvT is a bit behind JD's (and even Zero's). Effort was able to pull out the upset because he knew Flash well, being his main Zerg practice partner against JD. I also think Effort is still a fundamentally stronger player than Hydra, both in mechanics and strategic thinking. Even so, Hydra's probably the next CJ ace to shine in the Starleagues.
The difficulties that Flash is going to face will be mostly mental. He can't think of his wrist while playing. No hesitation. If he does, Hydra will jump on that right away. He has that CJ Zerg killer instict that Effort and Savior had.
For Hydra, this will be the proof that he is legit. Beat the no.1 Terran in a Bo5. He already beat one of the top Protosses in Stork. He already beat Jaedong last MSL (to be fair, JD wasn't primed back then). Now's his chance to enter the discussion alongside Fantasy and the TaekBangLeeSsang.
Yes. It's irritating how people always do petty things for no reason. Afaik GG,NoRe behaved well in the last LR. Its maybe understandable for someone to bring up an issue regarding Jaedong in the OP in a game not including Jaedong, but to once again chorus on it as if your just waiting for the opportunity, especially after the mods have already intervened last time, that is just sad. Im looking at you Flash fans, yes you started this again.
Now to the important thing. I honestly feel Hydra could win a tight 3-2 vs Flash. He has time to prepare and he has the killer instinct. Mind might be on a lower level, but it showed that with preparation, Hydra can outplay a terran. Its easy to look back on it now, but review it, honestly who gave Hydra a chance vs Mind in a BoX. Yet he dominated Mind thoroughly. He was also counted out last time vs Jaedong. Hydra is serious. The pressure is on Flash in this series I think.

And in addition Hydra showed in that Mind bo5 that he has too looked into the queen usage vs mech terran, for what Flash has or doesn't have an answer yet. Hoping for JD to take the final spot, he really deserves it with the momentum that he has been gaining in the last month.

I find it ironic for you to criticise the pettiness of others who jumped on the bandwagon of OP hate, and then turned around and associated Flash fans with these haters and these haters with Flash fans. Really, thank you for your rational, unbiased and unassuming insight!
As for the series, I hope for a Flash win to get another ZvT in the finals and the possibility of a JvF. Flash's form has dipped in the last few months however, but I still expect a high quality series between these two.

I thought of doing this via PM but maybe it will serve its purpose better in the open. Look at all those who commented on it, all KT/Flash fans with icons and signatures. It was a non issue until it was stirred again.

He already said that it was understandable. You and others on the other hand didn't have to add to it if you were thoughtful enough to realize that there is really nothing to add to it and it will only cause further disagreement. Let's not derail this any further and let this be the end of it. We have a good season of BW and people who care enough about it. Give peace a chance.

and then take down Jaedong and it has to be the most epic and grand and awesome finals that people would talk about for centuries to come.
