Hydra's ZvT really is quite poor. His awareness and multitasking is not very good, makes you appreciate Jaedong a lot more. So many idle groups of units, random defilers walking around, poor lurker positions, not flanking when given the opportunity, etc. Flash went totally standard every game cause he obviously knew it would be no problem while against Jaedong he's always mixing it up. I know FvJ got boring for a lot of people but a series like this makes you want it a lot more.

As pointed out, Flash made quite a few mistakes though especially game 2 (maybe he knew it wouldn't matter?). I expect ZerO to do much better.

Edit: Why is some stupid person saying Jaedong isn't good in ZvT? Have they even watched any of his games this year? It's like 10 times better than what was displayed today. If Flash went standard 1rax CC Bio every game like this vs JD i'd infact expect JD to win at the moment. I'm guessing he'll mix it up in the final and won't underestimate ZerO though, as he's been beaten by him before even going untouched 14CC vs 12hatch.

I expected 3-1 rather than 3-0, but this isn't shocking.
I hope Zero can be amazing this time around and save us.

Wow i just watched the vods and flashes marine micro vs lurkers is insane. Hold lurkers dont seem to work against flash and hydra was constantly throwing lurkers away by doing so. Game 2 might have turned out differently if he had ling speed when flash pushed top right expo.

While his micro vs lurkers is of course great i feel like Hydra was putting them in fairly awful positions regularly.

After carefully watching the games and the interview, I have come to the conclusion that neither player was playing at his best. Except flash at 90% is still better than 99% of all progamers. I believe that the Hydra we saw last year would probably have been able to win a game or two. Game 2, in particular, was not indicative of either player's high moment with Flash being very careless with his dropships almost resulting in a loss and Hydra with no real plan.

I shudder to think what would happen to this Flash we saw today against a supercharged Jaedong at 110%. In the interview, it was quite obvious that Flash was tired and overworked.

Maybe it was last night hmmmm??? ¬_¬

Despite being a Flash fan overall, I miss the greatest of all time.. Savior, who's motto always was ... overbuild, overrun, overkill.

Oh nice I missed the third set but saw the first two and had to leave for a while, glad to see he got the next one its what I was expecting from him. Flash ftw so glad no zvz finals! :D

Yeah losing to Flash is clearly indicative that you're not S-class. Everyone who gets 3-0'ed by Flash must not be S-class. Like Jaedong. Oh wait.

Flash actually wasn't playing very standard in the first two games. He used a build in the first two matches that he almost never uses (2rax tech). It was only in the third game where he used one of his favourite builds (fe, fast upgrades, 4rax) but even then he transitioned into factories much earlier than he usually does.
