That said, I don't doubt Hydra will come out with guns blazing. Depending on Flash's condition, I'd call it a 3-1 Flash (if he's on terminator-mode) or 3-2 Flash (if he has trouble with his wrist in the middle of the series). Simply can't imagine Hydra winning this because so far his ZvT is a bit behind JD's (and even Zero's). Effort was able to pull out the upset because he knew Flash well, being his main Zerg practice partner against JD. I also think Effort is still a fundamentally stronger player than Hydra, both in mechanics and strategic thinking. Even so, Hydra's probably the next CJ ace to shine in the Starleagues. The difficulties that Flash is going to face will be mostly mental. He can't think of his wrist while playing. No hesitation. If he does, Hydra will jump on that right away. He has that CJ Zerg killer instict that Effort and Savior had. For Hydra, this will be the proof that he is legit. Beat the no.1 Terran in a Bo5. He already beat one of the top Protosses in Stork. He already beat Jaedong last MSL (to be fair, JD wasn't primed back then). Now's his chance to enter the discussion alongside Fantasy and the TaekBangLeeSsang. | ||
