This weekend Australia WCG will be battled out on the 18-19th of September. The top 2 qualify for Sanfrancisco but 2nd has to buy their own ticket.

The finals will be played in 2 groups of 6 with the top 2 from each group playing off in a 4 person finals.
Leg should pretty much win this and get the free travel but for 2nd place things should be interesting with starrbren, starhunter, gabriel, Filthy, L!MP and Razor big chances.
Network Events and Media are pleased to announce Australian Technology Park (ATP) as a Program Sponsor of WCG 2004.
This 11th hour sponsor has meant we will be now holding WCG at ATP. ATP offers WCG synergy with its role as a scientific, research and development precinct located less than five kilometres from the Sydney central business district. Also ATP has substantial conference facilities to stage WCG this year and for future events. Spread over 13.8 hectares, the ATP occupies the site of the old Eveleigh Railway Workshops; http://www.atp.com.au/.
The sponsorship will allow WCG to showcase gaming as a sport at the venue and on the net. In a 500 seat theatre you will be engrossed in the action. Broadcasting games and highlights will be as they happen. Profiles will be developed and published. Results and interviews delivered from in an around the event. Also our BYOC event will enjoy great access, parking and technical facilities. ATP will also assist WCG in promoting the venue change to the market.
Of the fasttracking of WCG 2004, NE&M Director Russell Hanna said "With our appointment less than 12 weeks ago, we have been able to secure great support at short notice. For 2005 and beyond, we will be able to "plan the work and work the plan" with a lot more time available!!"

i still have that dumb rep where filthy is z vs some t , the t kills him takes map and filthy has 1 base and filthy ends up winning due to defiler , WTF is with that game...... embarassing for the terran user there...

Flying out to join my wayward brethren in 18 hours! Minions the red carpet and champagne had better be ready when i arrive or there will be hell to pay!~
Should be a fun event, a couple of the old school players are planning to meet up at the event.
I can already smell the forthcoming cheese wafting over from aus, so i'm expecting lots of it in the tournament, i just have to play totally solid and counter everything, (except doing that stops the counter for fast expands) argh, it seems there will be hell to pay regardless!

bren i was upset when u left, but it passed u jus affiliated urself with every other dis loyal bnet player. Reeva retired cause hes pussy whipped, Tung doesnt come on but when he does hes still in 88, and Waste the same. I know u have some kinda grudge against me cause i didnt support ur decision but plz, lets not squable here. And u have it the other way around, an australian newb left my team. Not a australian leaving my newb team lol.

10 hrs till wcg australia starts.
Leg came ago 2 days ago, wearing exactly the same clothes i saw him 14months ago. I don't think hes ever changed them :p
Should bei nteresting, i wonder if leg will choke or 1 of his cheese strats will fail. The event will go for 2 days, 12 finalsts are playing. Only 4 will make it too day 2. My aim is too make it too day 2 thats it :p
