Ye, the great thing was that he was using builds that weren't supposed to work and somehow won games with them. It seems reality has finally caught up with Fantasy, but he is still trying to find some new weirdness that actually works. Just hope he succeeds one of these days

I don't think he was. He obviously did better in individual leagues and TvP but that's about it.

During the era when the maps were better for mech he was pretty good TvZ.
Oh well - I already prepared myself for the high probability that Fantasy would lose, so I'm not too disappointed. But game 2 got my hopes up...

Fantasy's TvP was inarguably the best in the world at that point, noone is denying that. His TvT was 2nd in the world behind Flash. His TvZ worked and he won all his series/sets vs Zerg that mattered except vs JD, whereas Flash was struggling with his ZvT and dropping bo3s to all 3 races at that point.
Fantasy was the best terran performance wise whether he was a gimmick or not, and was the most successful. He led the metagame of TvZ along with upmagic and changed an entire mu for a year when the other terrans were still getting raped by 2hat muta.

How dare you say that? Flash is the god of Starcraft who invented everything that can possibly happen in the game. Fantasy is just some shrub n00b

Movie being a bit ballsy here by going nexus without scouting, but I guess they are guaranteed to spawn crossmap on this map.
Well, by the looks of it Movie will easily have cannons up in time vs. overpool going nexus forge gateway cannon, so I guess it's not that risky after all.
