From the time that lair finishes, Lurkers come at 160 (40 to build and 120 to research) time units versus Mutas which also come at 160 (40 to build and 120 to research). wtf? I guess that means that Flash deduced the from the time difference between when muta popped and should attack versus when Lurkers would come. I guess the time difference is mainly comprised of the fact that muta come really fast while Calm didn't manage larva perfectly.

Well, not to take away from him, but as long as the players can control their nerves and not let the pressure get to them, I doubt two or three games in a row are going to tire them, considering their practice regimen. So it's more about Flash being immune to pressure.

Yeah, they finished almost simultaneously. My guess is he started the 2nd bunker to be safe, and would've cancelled it if he saw he didn't need it with the scans.

Wtf guys it can't be that he saw mutas didn't come so he instantly threw down a 2nd bunker. He had no turrets... if mutas DID come he'd be fucked, no? Somehow he knew early on that Calm was going lurkers.

Edit: Or yeah, I guess he could've cancelled it if he scanned and saw mutas. But would that leave him enough time to build turrets and defend muta harass?

oh wtf. I really am going crazy seeing a vulture as a turret. I guess he he knew calm was going lurker from the start and just decided not to make an ebay. Honestly think it would have been better just making an ebay and getting a turret.

I wonder if Calm would've done better if instead of trying to break the front with the Lurkers, he used Lings to draw fire while splitting Lurkers and sending them to behind the mineral lines of main and natural. At least it would've made Flash use more scan and would've interfered with mineral collection...?

In fact, when Calm ran those 6 Lings into Flash's main, if instead it was a Lurker I think Flash wouldn't have had the scans to deal with both the front and the main.
