The two teams at the top of the Proleague rankings, KT Rolster and STX SouL, duke it out in the Winners League. Much is at stake. Will KT Rolster remain undefeated? Will Calm get his revenge against Flash, or will he be crushed under Terran tank treads like so many other Zergs this round? Will Kal show Stats who is the true son of Aiur? Will Luxury, Modesty and random other Zergs ZvZ each other to hell and back again? Will we ever see Violet again?
Predictions. + Show Spoiler + fOrGG < Neo Moon Glaive > FrOzen Stats < Roadrunner > FrOzen Stats < New Tornado > Shuttle HoeJJa < Match Point > Shuttle Flash < Judgment Day > Shuttle Flash < Fighting Spirit > Kal? Flash < Neo Moon Glaive > Calm ? forGG is good against Zergs but rather inconsistent against Terrans. Frozen is scrubby but has only had this match to prepare for -- we'll see if the practice beast delivers. Solid middleman Stats comes out next to clean up the pesky Terran, and then goes up against PvP specialist Shuttle. Since he's been performing well lately, I'm banking on Shuttle's momentum to get him past Stats and the following Zerg. Shuttle's solid, methodic play should win the day vs Hoejja's inconsistency. But all that's just an appetizer for the main event. The Ultimate Weapon cracks his knuckles and takes the stage. He defeats Shuttle and Kal with barely an eye twitch, then collides with Calm in a bitter, spiteful Ace game where Calm avoids clamming it up and takes it to the late game. This is huge for STX. Huge!!! They're without a doubt a great team, but they need to prove they are an elite team and score a win over the best team. They need to separate themselves from MBC and Woongjin. However, as we've seen before, taking down Flash is pretty rough, and having to take him out in the 7th set just isn't going to happen. Not only that, but Stats is damn good, too. Other players on their team are fully capable to take a win as well, even Luxury is still good for a ZvZ snipe.
Here's what I think is going to happen, but won't happen:
Never_V_ > FrOzen As bad as Never_V_ was vs Hiya, this is still CuteAngel we're talking about.
Never_V_ < Kal Just don't send a zerg and you should be fine, STX.
HoeJJa > Kal Facepalm ending.
HoeJJa < Modesty He's only good at ZvZ, and by God, he gets his ZvZ!
815 < Modesty ZvZ snipe backfires against a real ZvZ sniper
Flash > Modesty Oh shit, they let him off his leash!
Flash > Calm Ahhh! Heartbreaking!

I didn't predict that Calm would win. It's a cop-out on my part, as an STX fan. Obviously, from a more objective point of view, Flash is very heavily favored.
edit: I added a question mark to the last game to make it clear that I'm not predicting a victor.

Kal will be STX's ace here, Calm is a likely second or third option, he won't challenge Flash though.

Given how impossibly bad fOrGG was in MST, there's no way he can't have run out of bad now. I predict an all-kill.

Hell yeah! Or... I say 4-3 KT, since Flash will sit back for Ace and dominate STX.

Flash is going to clean this up ez
|
Violet, Flash, Luxury, Stats, and even ForGG KT has too many tools that could dismantle poor STX
|
This is going to be an awesome match. The problem with beating KT in WL is that you can't win without beating Flash. And that's a damn hard task these days. But STX has a lot of big guns. Maybe one of them will be able to take down Flash...
Either way, I expect great games and I sure hope Flash can break his elo peak this time

Yeah CJ is the only team that managed to snipe Flash I think.

Flash can stomp Kal or Calm ez, surely on clean-up duty after Stats, Forgg and Lux give STX a hard time. So pumped up for this series!
Edit: I miss watching Violet play
|
Skyhigh just straight up beat Flash, their actual snipe build (by Snow) failed
|
@OP: You've got the date wrong, it says 7 march.
|
Personally I think Stork and FBH can also take down Flash.
|
they should make this a best of 9 since both teams have so many good players
