And before that double title he was raping everyone all the way through both tournaments and went 22-3 in PL. Now he's continued destroying into a second season with a WL performance that's mind blowingly impressive (moreso for Gameplay, since Light trumps him on wins). And an entirely different rant for you calling KT equivalent to Oz: Stats rules and the rest of KT has been performing pretty well since the start of this PL season, despite Violet and Luxury's recent stumbles. Flash has had to bail them out recently (And started off with a 3 kill once, admittedly, but didn't bail them out there just did his thing) a couple of times against SKT and now STX, but he actually had a huge lack of wins early on because KT was doing so good. He literally just averaged 1 win a game in regular PL -- 22 wins in 22 games. Admittedly, that's by far the highest win rate, but he only had that few because of how often they didn't force him to play ace games. For the most part, KT won their R1 and R2 games before ace. It's why their match differential was +20 when the second highest, STX, was at +9 -- they finished it up 3-0 and 3-1 more than anyone. As a matter of fact, KT only needed Flash to win a regular game and an ace game once last season, against the aforementioned STX. Hell, let me show you something. Flash lost 3 times in regular PL. Once to Best, once to Hyun, and once to Really. In 2 of those 3 games, KT picked up 2 wins and allowed Flash to make up for his losses by beating their ace players (Fantasy when he lost to Best, Sea when he lost to Hyun). The loss to really and Estro was admittedly a bit rough but KT only lost 5 times in lieu of Flash, and that's pretty damn impressive. Hell, Flash only played 3 ace games in both R1 and R2 combined, despite KT obviously going to ace more than that. Guess what? KT was 5-0 in ace games, 3-0 from Flash (Fantasy, Calm, Sea) and, go figure, 2-0 from Violet (Leta and Mind). Not quite as strong but legit none the less. I know I'm coming off as a blind, ranting KT fanboy, but one thing I do know about is how goddamn good KT is and when I see someone dismiss the entire team that, if you took Flash out of the equation, still has a +10 winning ratio against other teams in the regular season (And would've therefore been a 3rd place team without Flash, maybe a little less), I say to hell with you for not knowing a damn thing about my team. If you take Flash off this team and put him on STX/MBC/Woongjing, or hell, any of the other 5 teams in playoff contention, those teams WOULD be #1. But KT would almost certainly be in playoff contention still. KT without Flash is still in the upper half of teams, with Flash they're like 26-5 with a +42 wins. RANT CONCLUDED on the bright side I'm kind of happy now because talking about how awesome KT is is really enjoyable. KT without Flash in the top6? hahaha

That puts KT at +9 without Flash which roughly ranks in at 5th. This isn't a foolproof metric but I think it shows KT would've done okay without Flash this year. They would've done well in R1 but lousy since then I think. Oh twotone said that already.. ignore this then.

Surprisingly enough, it wasn't Oz. It was KTF. Without Flash, KTF would be as bad as Estro last proleague season. In R1 of this season, even without Flash, KT would have managed due to the revival of Luxury and Violet's reliability. But now, ForGG and Stats are their best non-Flash players, lol. The only reason KT is standing at the top is because Flash is just killing everything. Remember that KT almost got AK by Hyuk? End of discussion.

But seriously. I don't remember JD owning this much in winner's league. I think Flash should make his own team, Tieam Flash (because there most definitely is an "i" in team). And I BET that team would be ranked #1 by the end of the season. Tieam Jaedong would be vulnerable to an unlucky ZvZ...

This season? Yeah, considering R1 and the beginning of WL.

JD loses a lot more easily than Flash, case in point. Take a look at the stats this season. JD is not nearly (not even closely) as invincible as flash, JD even admitted himself in an interview that Flash is the best player. shrug. I mean 2417 ELO, honestly thats just ridiculous beyond words I got nothing to say about M18M, too imbalanced, hes like the best toss ever. No point in arguing when JD already admits he isn't as good of a player, I'm really happy to have heard him say that so the "who is better" debate can be silenced. And no, its not JD being modest, he is the last person that would be modest in that specific manner. JD recently got a 3 kill which made me very happy, I hope he builds back up again and faces Flash in the finals. I want there to be a settlement again when JD is at his strongest once again. If Flash beat JD in the state he was in during the previous few weeks, it would not be satisfactory at all. If this is truly the last year of SC1 before SC2 takes over it needs to end with a bang. Once beesuit gets back from his vacation, I hope he becomes like mystic gohan and starts tearing it up as well. Only then will I be satisfied

He’s the best skill-wise, and has achieved so much during his career. However, nothing lasts forever, and any one of us could turn out to be even better. I think very highly of Bisu and Jaedong, but nowadays I lean more towards Jaedong. It's a pretty silly argument to make anyways with how much these two respect each other.

He said that before he got number 1, if you read what he said more recently, he said he was number 1 and he was going to try his best to do even better. Also, at that time, Jaedong was Kespa number 1, so it would be sort of strange for flash to say he was the better player. That question existed when Bisu was actually still GOOD. Now, asking whos the best out of the "four" isn't even an applicable question because there is not even four people to judge from lol. Also, did JD ever get Flash a meal? They said they never talked in person after the finals or something in JD's most recent interview

Oh twotone said that already.. ignore this then. To expand on this. Let's take the best player off every currently playoff team. STX: +18 Best player: Calm who is 25-12, overall +13 STX is a +5 team without Calm, four (or basically an entirely WL match) behind KT MBC: +22 (oddly disproportionate due to Light's all kill spree but same metric) Best player: Light who is 30-16, overall +14 MBC is a +8 team without Light. About as good as KT, would probably be slightly better or slightly worse score wise. Woongjin: +13 Best player: Zero who is 28-16, overall +12 Stars is a +1 team without Zero, a full +8 behind KT (or two WL games) SKT and Wemade are both at +1 already, below KT even with their best players. The point I can make here is Flash is what has made the difference between KT and the other teams so phenomenal. All things the same and without Flash, KT would probably be in the same position Wemade is in, below the obvious top teams (MBC/STX/Stars) because they lack a solid ace. KT's backup is similarly as strong as every other teams, but it's not the same players every round. In round 1 Luxury and Violet were doing tons of work, securing awesome wins and even taking ace games. More recently Stats and ForGG have been playing better despite Violet and Lux not absolutely crushing like they were. Their zerg back up remains "potentially good snipers who sometimes fuck up." Basically KT rules so people should stop hurting my feelings by saying they don't. =(
