Jaedong fighting. I hardly think this is true. Flash just outplayed Jaedong that game. Although for some reason Flash didn't turret his main again. I honestly thought he'd lost then but he pulled it back. I loved the timing on his third it was quicker than the one he did in game 3. It's almost as if he's saying "like hell am I losing to a power outage again". Flash didn't outplay Jaedong that game whatsoever. One missing click from Jaedong ended it. Flash outplayed Jaedong by getting back from a huge disadvantage caused firstly by build orders and secondly by lack of turrets. Flash's failure to build turrets probably evens out Jaedong's failure to get swarm in terms of stupidity, so on balance, this makes Flash the outplayer.
Well, the BO was variable for JD, depending what his scouting drone would see. He would have gone pool before 3rd hatch if Flashs BO would have looked differently. He scouted really early, on 9 I believe.

Seemed like a late game breakdown, didn't look like he had nyduses either. =/

More like JD outplayed himself.

It seems like outright lying is a good thing to do when you want to make people believe you.
Anyway, Kespa probably would not have awarded jaedong the match in this situation (hopefully) as the circumstances were drastically different from those of the MSL finals.

This is like JD vs Bisu and he forgets hold...
Lol are you even reading this thread? Yeah, I've seen alot of "THIS IS WHAT MSL FINALS SHOULD HAVE LOOKED LIKE!!" Obviously Flash deserved this game, as he played flawless. JD fucked up, and it cost him the game. Yeah, JD fucked up and it cost him the game. No argument there. But how did Flash play flawless? Flawless is getting your main WRECKED by a muta/ling run by? Wrecked? He lost like 10 SCVs total, Jaedong lost all those lings and 9 mutalisks. Marines are cheap when you have 5 barracks pumping them.
I don't know about you but losing 10 or more SCVs to 3 hatch muta (in fact, losing 10 scvs to anything) is pretty wrecked in a TvZ in my standards. At the professional level, that is a huge disadvantage for any T.
Also, JD did not lose 9 mutalisk. If you were watching the game, when the vessel was finally out, Flash irradiated a group of more than 8 or 9 so mutalisk.

Seeing as there was no nydus there. Could be totally wrong though... :/
The thing that can be argued is that when the normal timing of consume would be. I might be wrong on this one, but I recall mound going up right before Flash started his push, which would probably let jd have swarm before Flash was at JD's choke. Even if JAedong got his defilers out in time, the game wouldn't be over. But it sure would have looked different.

Most Flash fan are like FLASH TOTALLY OUTPLAYED JD WHAT A BRILLIANT PUSH when even Day9 said that Flash 1a2a3a and JD went like "oh fuck consume".

For those who wondered about Flash's turrets, he went quick 4-rax IIRC. And was concentrating on pumping out mnms. The lack of turrets is by design, not because he forgot.
As for Jaedong not having defilers either along with consume, I don't play zerg. So I don't know the timing of defiler vs consume upgrade. But I'm pretty sure they're tied to one another(maybe at the same time?). And that Jaedong's lack of defiler is predicated on him forgetting to research consume. Perhaps a zerg player can help me out here. Regardless, I'm pretty sure Jaedong's hive and defiler mound timing were fine. But defilers just never popped up.

It was a mistake but he would still have lost both his expansions. His expansions wasn't defended, how can you not see this? It would not have been over if jaedong had consume,.

If normal consume finished when he was on top of the high ground I think the game would be still tipped in Flash's favor, but if consume finished before he got up there then obviously he would be in a horrible position.
The only reason I think that consume probably wouldn't have finished before he got on the hill was because I'm assuming that even if he didn't realize he forgot consume his defilers would still be popping out about the time he THOUGHT he would have consume, which was about when Flash was moving up the high ground. But I really dont know. :/.
