Flash didn't have the vessel count to stop defilers. JD had defilers their with nydus to reinforce and consume. Without 6 or so vessels Flash couldn't break through. And without killing 7 he couldn't win. He did a 2 base allin, based around stopping JD taking a 4th gas. That was his entire build. He lost all his vessels and JD had defilers and ultras at 7. There was nothing Flash could do.

look i know you are the expert but you are convenient ignroing the fact that jaedong's last surviving deflier died to irradiate, as well as having no more than 4 ultras at his 7. now, he definitiely could have more etc and sent them through the nydus... but the question is whether he could have done this before flash ran through the dark swarm and attacked the base, especially since the first two swarms were close to running out.

odds are more likely that jaedong would have new defilers in time to stop the fight, new ultras to replenish the troops... but at that moment, the reality was there were no defilers, very few ultras, no lings, and flash still had a substantial mnm force, the first two swarms near the base were almost out, and flash had a sci vessel at the nydus canal waiting for any other defilers to come through.

Jaedong lost all his defilers and Flash just got a brand new set of MM reinforcements. Jeadong DID NOT have both gases up - he just built the second extractor and had low drone saturation.

From the way it looked Flash was going to kill 7. We don't know what Jaedong had at his base to push through the nydus. We DO know he had lings at 7 with sunkens and like 3 ultras with swarms running out. Flash's mineral expo WAS NOT up but he was maynarding SCVs.

This is why people need to stfu and stop making shit up. Jaedong had an advantage but was in a very tight spot. No one knows how it would have turned out but Flash was in control for sure. Likewise Flash's expansion wasn't even up.

That wasn't when the blackout happened. The game went on for another minute or so.

Gusy were claiming Jaedong had a bazillion units and Flash had an expo fully mining pumping massive MnM forces - a minute from now that wasn't happening. Both "sides" were wrong. I just wanted to clearly illustrate that it wasn't like these guys had their economies rolling ez like some posters are making it sound.

Can't MBC show the replay until the moment of blackout? It'd be nice to have better closure, so people can properly decide for themselves.

I think I've seen first hand, the average quality difference, between veteran and new posters. More emotion and baiting.
