Using a statistic example of four games to claim the other player doesn't stand a chance is pretty dumb. I don't think anyone said Kwanro was a favorite in this but I would say anyone who makes it to the semis has at least a very small chance of winning.

If I remember correctly, that period was during the strange time that Flash was the greediest player in the proscene and would constantly skimp on turrets and units during the early game and would often go 14CC and die to stuff like 9 pool. If I remember right, that's pretty much how he lost set 3 of that series.
I think Flash is still cutting it close with the timings for certain things but he's definitely building lots of turrets and isn't really going 14CC constantly and getting mauled by aggressive builds.
Of course I thought Kwanro would give Flash a decent fight, due to his aggressiveness, but he chose to do two sets of guardian builds, which I cannot ever remember working against Flash.

It's pretty crazy how Flash has gone from being one of the most predictable players to one of the most unpredictable.
It's obviously working, at any rate. TvZ was Flash's worst matchup 6 months ago, at 62.3%. Now it's 70%.

If you look only at this series Flashs builds were genius.
But if you think further at the possible Jaedong vs Flash finals I am like wtf.
Jaedong looking at those games will surely never go 12 hatch against Flash. He will most likely go 9pools or 12pools. Which makes Flash's possibilites quite low.
Afaik early pool builds negate early rax, 14ccs and Flash's favourite BO his very early rax expand.
This means Flash will have to completely change his game plan, against 12hatch the Terran is usually the one aggressor, but against early pools (especially against Jaedong) he will have to wait much longer to expand to his natural now.
Can anyone more skilled than me explain why Flash did those things TODAY and not keep them till the finals?

Other factors contributing to his loss were
-Ling speed before Lair, unscouted
-8rax was outside of his base and needed to be lifted off, losing marine training time
This is the kind of perfect storm of tiny mistakes that needs to occur in order for Flash to ever lose a game, it seems
