Maybe with some luck the finals will only be 3-1 with either Movie or Shine somehow "squeazing" out a win, but that's it. That being said, Movie and Shine both deserve to get to the finals - especially Shine considering his incredibly hard road and both of em COULD normally win it - if not for the sake of Flash being literally unbeatable right now. Movie's road was just as hard, he had to beat Light and By.Hero in the round of 36, than beating Zero in the round of 8.
Shine had to beat Bisu to qualify for RO16, then he had to beat effort and fantasy to advance from his group, hen he had to beat Stork for RO8.
I love Movie, and I think very highly of his skills; but Shine clearly had a much rougher path.

I'm seriously staying awake just for the interview now.
I must know of Flash's inner workingssssssssss

Beating Light and By.hero is not a great accomplishment, both are barely above average players. wins over those two warrants a place in ro16. win over Zero is impressive, but his road to semis has been relative cakewalk Bisu lost to by.hero in a bo3. So Bisu must be an average player? you use 1 boX to determine strength of a player? Hero's is a sub-.500 player. that is average. hes somewhere around what... 10th best zerg player? Shine's resume is soo much greater than Movie's its not funny, and i like movie alot more than i do shine

All I am saying by.hero is a very good ZvPer to take Bisu out in a bo3.

Flash's current Elo: 2392, best of any player at all times. Flash's current vT Elo: 2310, best of any player at all times. Flash's current vZ Elo: 2309, 3rd best of any player at all times. Flash's current vP Elo: 2196, 11th best of any player at all times.

Luxury OSL (how do you have 2000 minerals???)
ForGG MSL (what the FUCK 4 straight games of 14CC what the FUCK)
Yarnc MSL (aghhhhhhhhhhh)
GGPlay OSL (ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME)
Best OSL (nooooooooooooo you just won 12 straight fuck you KTF)
Leta MSL (this one really hurt the most ... this one really really hurt)
Yarnc/JD OSL (what are you doing WHAT ARE YOU DOING)
Kwanro MSL (WHAT? KWANRO? WHAT? MAKE A TURRET FUCKFUCKFUCK)
Flash was born to play this game. He was born to play SC and it feels so so good to finally see him back. It's been a long 22 months.
Didn't he lose to GGplay twice in the OSL?

If Shine beats Movie and then beats Flash with muta all-ins, TL is going to have a server overload from the frothing rage spewing in every single postable area of the website.
On a more positive note, Flash with another new Elo peak, 2392, yay! Needs two more wins to break 70% winrate now.

If Flash wins 2 more games without losing any, he will have a 70% winrate as evidenced by TLPD.
Yikes, I was beat by mere seconds.
I just got home from New Years Eve/Day celebrations, but I'll watch these games as soon as they are up on youtube.

But it's not appropriate calling this the "real" finals, though. That's what some of you said about JD vs Flash: a fucking quarterfinal match as "the" finals! Damn elitists. Give Shine/Movie their due.
I keep getting the feeling that he'll just revert back to the Clam that played against Fantasy and Light.
This series has kind of confirmed my suspicions that he's like Fantasy - a player that requires a lot of prep time to put out amazingly good all round results.

I know Flash was favored and choked in a hilarious fashion in set 3, but losing to GGplay is no crime (See Daum OSL semifinals), but that must have really sucked as a fan... But it was great for me as a GGplay fan! No worries. Flash is in great shape to take this OSL. As long as he doesn't sleep on Shine like everyone else has. Or as long as... No, I give Movie no chance.

Shine vs Movie is 50/50 imo. I think Movie's PvZ is better than Shine's ZvP. The only problem is the maps, if the maps were more balanced I would favor Movie. I mean wtf is Movie suppose to do to win on El Nino?

I used to be a Flash fan, but got sick of his epic chokes. I'm waiting to see how many individual leagues he will win this year. Just means you weren't a true fan. The true fans must be ecstatic right now. I guess not. I switched my fan loyalty to Jaedong after Flash got raped like a noob in Gom season 1. But I will admit that Flash has been playing like a beast recently. Hope he chokes I'm still waiting for by.hero to win a Starleague ;O
Me too! They call him a one-hit wonder, but his time will come..

I wonder if Calm had gone in if he had known. Hard to say - I would go with the reasoning of levels (similar to poker) where flash knew that calm didn't know that he didn't have any turrets. This means that flash could be late on turrets as long as he was agressive with a minimally small mnm force. The game kind of came down to calm not doing enough damage with his muta, however you want to interpret that. I would've gone for Zerg's Nat, and then main. I don't see why 3rd would be a better target if both places are undefended. THen Calm would've been fucked. I think Calm knew Flash had no turrets inside his main (from game re-watching game 3, which I hope he did), but he couldn't risk it. Well yeah - the idea would be to start sunkening up your natural/giving up your third, as soon as you notice m&m pressure.
Let's say the m&m force is closer to third and further from main and natural. There might be enough time to morph 2-3 and defend with lings.

It's not a crime.
It was just an UNBELIEVABLE choke.
Right there and then, even though I didn't want to admit it, I knew Flash was no longer a champion. A champion would never have lost like that. It only took the next 2 leagues to confirm what I already knew.
