but he DID have 2 hatcheries sniped at one point. Boxer kept Killer's drone count down untill the end and that nuke must've demoralized him. Boxer was on 3 bases, 5+ rax while killer had about 3-4 hatcheries. Boxer would've run him over

He was mentally screwed basically, let alone all disadvantages from the mining downtime. Because if the game had moved on, Boxer would have continued to push forward with his bio army and tanks, the at the same time sending out couple of nukes every here and there. I think it's just too much for Killer to handle. Maybe players with better multitasking could have hold on to it and made a comeback. But then again, players with good multitasking wouldn't put themselves in such situation anyway.

To be honest Killer did get screwed pretty badly. I mean at the time if he was calm and kept his cool, he could put up a good fight but Boxer just Nuked him, destroyed his army of Lurkers and had so many Bionics waiting to move in. I mean come on its Boxer who knows what else he'll bring on the table, even Battle Cruisers are possible to come out for further humiliation. Brilliant mind game by HIM.

Anyone notice that Terrans are using a lot more tanks in their bio games recently? FF vs SKyhigh from last night also tanks that proved very successful.

I think Killer wouldn't have put up much of a fight. Boxer raid his mineral line too many times. Boxer hit him up once with the marines at his third, then destroyed all his drones along with the third when the firebats came in, took down his fourth with the few drones there, and got his natural nearly wiped clean right before the nuke.

The nuke rather effective. Took out an ovie, 3 drones and lots of eggs and larva. Main should have been mined out. Maybe it was still 3 vs 3 bases but Killer didn't have the economy to compete.
