I was practicing WC3... you barely get enough resources for 2 unit-producing facilities off one base and you normally expand extremely rarely. You normally have your entire army together. The amount of multitasking is far, far, far, far, far, far less, it's undeniable. You don't even have to produce peons for 90% of the game. Thats not true at all.. expos happen alot and usually theres always 3 unit producing facilities atleast if ur orc. and if u get an expo u can have up to 4. 3 in the tier 2. unit production I saw yAws vs Hasuobs (human vs undead) and yAws expanded, and spammed towers to defend vs the first flying unit of the undead and teched to tier 3 when he just crushed hasuobs with a tanklike unit and flying units-_-; was insanely lame game. its one of the many strats vs ud. It may seem like laming but the ud has equal opportunities to stop tanks. There are many counters but unfortuntly u have to have a deep understanding of wc3 to know how the counters work and what not. The answer to tanks tho is usually a frostwrym and a panda + 1-2 meatwagons and tanks wont do shit to ur base

You have to have a near perfect understanding of the meta game to fully understand it, and only then is it really entertaining. I used to have that, but that was like a year ago, and some of the newer stuff, especially by TeD or TH000 is kind of weird to me.
Its not a bad spectator sport. I dont play it and have only watched streams and i understand the mechanics. I think the most important aspect with WC3 is good commentary on the streams.

So you tell me you understand the battles to its full detail? Even our Warcraft 3 players could not tell who's winning in a huge wc3 battle for some time?... Its just not like you can predict how much damage your units will deal etc..;;

Trust me, if you don't play the game there is going be a lot of stuff they're doing that your just not seeing.
And yeah, good commentators is a must, which is why I wondered why the didn't get ToD or Rotterdam.

Multi tasking is much different in wc3 then sc. its alot different then u think. when everyone gets 50 food they bank and they go over upkeep when they reach 1000+ gold depending on when they need the units. Im not gonna argue wc3 over a person who has no knowledge of how the game works. There is alot of micro involved in wc3. The fights are much longer. and the fights open up alot of possibilities on how fights can be fought . and multi tasking involves things like harassing with 1 hero and creeping with ur other + army.

yes, probably a cool thing to show of. Maybe your avatar like in war3.

I played lots of wc3 once upon a time, but the thing that made me stop was actually neither random damage or random items, but the fact that you had to kill creeps to expand. Couple that with the fact that you more or less have to have all your units by your hero all the time (unless you play blade master) the expanding process is a pain in the ass.

And I know that you're supposed to save gold. And I believe that that's what makes the macro and multitasking a joke. Creeping with your other hero and army you can just amove I guess?

This "Make Public" thing is really really good. I know it from another game, but I'm not sure from what game.. but its really really nice.

u cant a ground creep or harass.... at all.... U have to posistion ur units and let certain units tank damage and when ur harassing u have to be extremely careful theres alot of things u dont understand ;D
