In ZvP, there are many timing attacks/all-in's such as: 3 hatch speed ling 2 hatch hydra break etc
In PvZ, I really don't see any pro gamers using attacks analogous to those above. I am more interested in 1 base builds since goon can kill the scouting overlord fast, and zealots can block ramp. Where as FE, the overlord stays in base longer, thus preventing any good early game attacks.
If anyone has any of pvz strategies, please share. Thx
once i scout 1 gate tech or whatever you were planning on doing seeing as how u said "fast" goons... i go 3 hatch lingspeed drone drill which is an easy transition while doing 3 hatch muta or 5 hatch hydra and thats usually gg
In pvz you don't see all ins because its so easy to adapt to them at the highest levels.
However a really strong all in for iccup: 1 gate , gas, 13 core, cut probe, zeal, 2nd pylon, zeal, get goon after 2nd zeal(3rd if you sent your first to harass which you wouldn't do in this build unless he was being really greedy). Start stargate, chase away ovie with goon, cancel stargate and cut probes, get a citadel, keep probes cut and immediately add 2 more gates, add another when money becomes available . Pull your probes off gas as soon as you get 150. Start legspeed Build pylons and zeals only. Hide your zeals away from places where an ovie might see them until speed is just about done. Attack as speed is finishing. Micro to kill drones if they try to block with them. They won't be able to reenforce enough if they have to replace drones unless they have a solid sunk line already in which case you're probably fucked either way
standard 10/12 gate zealots until about 33 supply then you start core and tech to archives, should have a control group of speed zealots and an archon when you move out, start forge at home and start your expo while applying pressure. Prevents zerg from getting greedy from the beginning and they need to be more wary of unit/drone count.
Look for a D+ zerg with 50 apm and play against him on a 2-player map. You'll know he's gonna 4pool, so get 5 probes and 50 minerals, start the 6. one and rush with your 5 probes. Kill his 3 remaining drones and win.
Well, one-base toss has been more or less figured out. Any good experienced zerg should almost always come out into the early-mid game ahead if you open 1 base. So you should end it with 9/9 proxy if you are still insisting on the ways of 1 nexus.

Do you place cannons at your main and natural nexus with this build? I've done something similar before, but from one base, and I often find myself unable to scout mutas, and if they come, you're 100% fucked unless you got some static defence.
1 gate -> gas -> zeal -> cyber -> 2nd gate -> pump zeals -> citadel, attack with 8 zeals before z can have any tech, make 2 dts to harass with immediatly after. expo and build stormers while he is distracted. been winning with this lately.
also been trying the same 1 gate zeal rush but with +1, its slower though and if they rush mutas its hard to use.
