Oh wow this is great with the replay, BO, and FPVOD.

Thank you.

You know a better way of getting an empty game is to kill all but one of a computers buildings and then save game after you get your minerals down to 50 and have killed all but your cc and 4 scvs. You can then save your build at different points and work it out faster.

You do have fewer minerals in your main if you do this though, although you can lift off and go to another main if the map allows it I suppose.

The best way is to go multiplayer and remove the comp during the countdown. It gives you the victory screen right after your split and you can just hit 'continue playing'.

What if you split slowly and it interrupts you halfway through?

That isn't realistic split practice if you already see the cc/hatchery/nexus ahead of time.

Thnx for your support guys.
I was hoping that VOD, replay and BO would be a great feature.
It was quite time demanding getting everything to work, and I don't have alot of time since I work and study at the same time.

There will be TvP in the future but I'm focusing on TvZ at the moment.
Next VOD will probably be a Game-VOD though. Then I will focus more on what I think during the game instead of exact builds. The Game-VODs and the Buildorder-VODs will be very different in the way I explain things.

Ah, I will remove the computer in the countdown, ofcourse, nice tip.

If you need split practice, there are UMS maps for that. :p

this is probably the most efficient way to a strategy lesson i think. you first do what u did here which is post vod of the build + replay + the BO literally written out. you secondly go into real game situation, applying all of this against real opponent. the commentaries for each will focus on different goal (one on the technicality of the build while the other focus on strategy applied by real opponent and how you respond to it). this is so perfect man, really awesome~

Nice VOD and explaining of your thought process ect, but I have to ask, how often do you actually move out exact at the 9min mark in real games? Since there you need to add more turrets when u lose them, will lose stray marines ect. Are you often forced to stay in your base longer than the specific timing of this push or do you push out at that timing regardless if there is mutas flying around in your base?

Thanks for taking the time to do this to help the lesser players than you (ie me!).

Is there any chance you are going to take Ret up on his offer to do a game and then both commentate on it?

Good question.
Usually i do not have to add more turrets than i did in the VOD however i place them different. For example on othello i might need 5 turrets on my cliff to my natural instead of 4. Specially if my opponents mutalisks are most likely to go there first.
One thing to remember is when you add turrets later than usual is to start making the turrets in the location closest to your enemy base or the location he is most likely to harass first. This way your other turrets can be up as late as 7:20 or 7:30.
If you're there directly with a hotkeys groupd of marines behind your turretline the mutas won't be able to do much damage. Thats why you sometimes need 5 turrets on the natural cliff bacause marines are hard to micro there.

Back to the question. Yes sometimes the push is delayed.
But usually only with a couple of seconds depending on how well you multitask micro, scv scout and the buildorder at the same time. Usually if you need to add another turret or two, you miss an scv production or two and your cash will still be enough for making the techbuilding.
What differs most is the suply when you move out. If zerg had a succesfull muta harass you will have like 5-15 less suply when you move out.
But if you think of it, other strategies, like the standard 9:40 push will also be delayed when his mutas get succesfull.

When his mutas arrive to your base, if you've done the build properly, they'll most likely meet a wall of 4 turrets with marines behind it.

Anyway, this is just the buildorder-VOD, I will discuss more of this in the Game-VOD of this build when I get the chance to play it. I will descuss different scenarios, metagame etc.
