How do I make a game that is ranked or how can I tell if I join one if its ranked? Also, Im a noob zerg looking to play some games. Looking for zvt practive preferably but will play whatever. Thanks for the help! It has to be played in the game mode: "One on One" for ladder 1v1, and "Top vs Bottom" for 2v2, both on the official maps (you can't create ladder games on non official maps (not even replays xD)). Anything other is not counted towards ladder. Btw, you guys from sc2, enjoy watching replays with other people. xD

It feels like it should be really simple to implement, too.

Yes. Python is not completely buildable in the middle, but no map is.

I do this all the time in TvP if they're not cross position. I do the build that Artosis recommended in that one VOD that I can't find: a 5 fact push with supply depots and floated buildings. Basically, you do your standard army positioning: line of tanks, line of mines in front, with vultures and turrets for extra defense, close to the tanks, and arrange units to minimize flanking (when they're not cross positions, you just hug the wall or the high ground between you two). In addition to this, though, you float your barracks and ebay, and just build supply depots with your push. The extra buildings really fuck up the Protoss unit AI, and it just makes your tanks that much more effective.

So, back to brood war. Hopefully I can regain my former form. I'll take a look at the sGs thing on iccup as well, good practice partners are tough to come by.

At the moment, I'm pretty horrendous and it takes me forever to reach 100 food (I play zerg on SC2, so playing Terran on BW is so hard!) In any case, let me know! We'll play games and stuff.
