2012 OSL Final Spoiler + Show Spoiler + Fantasy made fac, cc, 2nd fac then ebay. However he had not scv scouted a nexus. If you open factory cc, and you arent sure P has expanded then it is normally wise to make an ebay before 2nd factory (even if you open with mines and even if cross position etc). Later at 7.10 Fantasys vulture scouts no nexus and sees 2 zeals. These clues heavily suggest a bulldog or dt attack ofcourse, and obviously he knows this. However, Fantasy takes the short term risk that he can hold with mines only for a solid advantage later on. He already had two massive advantages by killing one goon with a mine and heavily damaging another with rines. These facts make his decision to skip ebay much safer but its evidently still not safe enough. Additional stuff for those interested, Fantasy initially made tank, 2 vults then 2 more tanks. These 5 units all came from his first factory. The second factory immediately got machineshop and by the time the dt attack hit, the 2nd factory hadnt made a single unit. Jangbi made gate gas core, then 2nd gate and range all before his 2nd pylon. P made 6 goons then 2 zeals, 2 dts, nexus, 2 more dts, goons and 3rd nexus.

)My internet often disconnects and when it happens during a game on iccup an issue arises - I cannot host games anymore for some time. Interestingly, when I type commands such as /latency or /stats in the lobby, It writes not only my stats but the stats of the last opponent that I played against (from the game where the disconnect happened ). I guess the server didn't register that I got disconnected and I'm "stuck" in that game. Does anybody know how to fix that? It's really annoying.

Most often I only have 2 sunkens at my third and my natural. I have a bunch of overlords over my third and natural. I'm relatively new to this game and I seem to have troubles with the following: - I can't seem to stop protoss players from taking a third/fourth. They place a ton of cannons and from there on it's pretty much impossible to take them down without defilers and drop. (But I'm still only at hydralisks/mutalisks). Even if I scout them a lot, they seem to get it up. It's really hard to stop because their army is most of the times in the center of the map. I can't rush to the other side of the map since if I get too hastly storm rapes my entire army. How do I stop them from getting up expansions? And how should I react if I scout the corner of a map and suddenly spot 8 cannons for example. - How do I defend my expansions versus dt drops? Is it ok for me to make some spores and sunkens at 'all my bases'? I don't see this often in pro games. My opponents sometimes get tons of corsairs, quickly rape the overlords at one of my bases and then send in the dt's (when my army is at the opposite side of the map). I'm a fairly low level player so I'm not quick enough to stop all shuttles with scourges.

I'm a fairly low level player so I'm not quick enough to stop all shuttles with scourges. short answer because I'm not that good: scout much (every expansion) to be able to attack it while it still builds. Just sending 1 group of lings to deny expanding is useful later in the game. If he gets a fast 3rd and has too strong defense you can take your 4th. Also with the 3 hatch spire in 5 hatch hydra build you don't need to build mutas if he has too many corsair. Against corsair DT get overlord speed and some scourges, if he masses corsair a spore at the entrance helps, and I think air carapace is common too. If he drops, quickly pull your probes to the other base (the F-keys are helpful for that) and defend with enough hydras + OL. A sunken in your main is ok imo, I always place one if I'm ahead, however a spore I don't know since pros don't do it but on lowlevel it may help. EDIT: Found a good example of how to delay expansions and against lots of corsair.

I'm a fairly low level player so I'm not quick enough to stop all shuttles with scourges. you should be taking your 4th and transitioning into hydra/lurker/ling if you have 40+ hydras and ~12 mutas if you open hydra/muta your army should be stronger than the Ps if he plans to take a quick 3rd; pick off templars if he tries to move out too early (before he gets 10~15+ goons and maybe an archon or two) and delay as much as possible while your 4th goes up if you aren't comfortable with your muta micro, hydra/lurker/ling is a little easier to play to deny expos you need to stop them before cannons go up; if you let them get cannons up the base is going to be very difficult to break until hive tech. leave 1 ling at each expo so you can see when they want to take the base it's fine to make sunken/spore at all your bases if they're dedicated to dt/sair. against smaller numbers you can generally just leave a sunken and an overlord against shuttles, leaving overlords or pairs of scourge on patrol over common shuttle routes helps a lot. a group or two of speedlings can shut down smaller drops

I can get it to work with mini/wlauncher but iccup launcher just refuses to load BW in window mode. It gives the usual "RT Error!". Tried reinstalling, restarting, going into fullscreen then trying wmode again. Usually it gives me the RT error the first time, but launches fine the second time. I think you can also ignore the error message, right click the icon in the system tray and click "Run Starcraft".
