your first pair should ideally catch a stray corsair, if they dont then you can look for gateway count (protoss should be building 6 for the standard +1 speedlot push), whether stargates are building more corsairs, whether cannons have gone up. a lower gateway count means you can feel pretty confident about going for another expo, pumping some more drones and waiting for lurkers. otherwise you can pump hydras like crazy and try to overrun him. a high gateway count would mean a stronger push which will be harder to defend, but if you do its pretty much a guaranteed win. if you see no corsairs building then you could consider a muta switch. honestly though any information you get out of scourges are just a bonus and you really shouldnt plan your game on what your scourges can scout | ||

There are different things you can spot: - Check whether the cyber core is spinning => early goon range or +1 corsair - Is he building more corsairs? - Did he go for templar archives or a robotics bay? => he will NOT have any gateways - Or did he prioritize gateways (but has citadel) over archives? => Most likely speedlot push. - If he does have gateways, how many does he have in total? 3 is the most likely for a speedlot push. Does he have more? Might again indicate a fast goon/zealot push. In my opinion it is also critical to be as aggressive with scourges as you can, you DO NOT want to let the protoss build up his corsair count with impunity (In case you do see him building more corsairs). What is the correct response in ZvP to having a probe block your natural and eventually build a pylon when you open overpool? I always find this incredibly annoying since I most of the time end up taking a close-by third (12 o'clock, 3o'clock, 6o'clock, 9o'clock on FS). Often my minerals also go up to 500 before I end up putting down the hatchery, really infuriating. I tend to immediately make 6 lings also in response, but I always lose my window of effectiveness to try a run-by at all because I have to kill the pylon first. What do Koreans always say after finishing a game of starcraft? "SO-es-mida" is it the pronunciation of a short form of "수고하셨습니다" ? | ||

MCA offers some nice features the over Launcher's don't offer. Most notable, it at least half way fixes the color bugs and gives you access to streaming. But it's not like a must. Using the ICCup launcher or Chaoslauncher is just fine. | ||

After macro has kicked in with ~4 groups of hydras (with the map control this gives you)? | ||
