I think iCCup even before the new rating system was always based on how many games someone could play to some extent up until the B rank or around that rank where you would win as many points as you would lose in a game. There's also player abuse where you can play the same person several times and it becomes inevitable for the iccup system with fewer players. I think it'd be hard to measure. Fish's rating system, it is more punishing and you can't get up the ranks more easily. There's also very large skill gaps now. D+ is far away from C and B- is far away from B or A. These distances are more pronounced from the low liquidation in ladder.
Well yeah but I remember something like C was 1000 rating on fish so I'm not sure how that translates to the new system.

in SCD map it was 99 patches of 50000 minerals each, if I remember correctly.as for the number of worker needed, it really depends on your style, but it's not rare to see 100. Just dont forget to sacrifice a few dozens when you get too rich

Answer to your question: No.
However there are other reasons for drag-selecting workers. 1. Warming up during the start of the game. 2. Simple and fast way of counting the amount of mining workers. This is actually very important to know how if you can sustain/increase the amount of production facilities. Aswell as getting a good indication of your economic situation.
Watch a zerg player FPV and see how often they count their drones. Cheers!
Sometimes at the start of the game I experience one or two second lag, I instinctively click on the hatchery, press sd and cause the first 50 minerals to dissappear but no drone is being produced. Has anyone experienced something similiar? What can be done to fix this?

So I'm starting to learn zerg and I'm not sure what to do after mutas come out. Usually I throw down a Den and get lurkers asap, 2 evo chambers for upgrades, the problem is that this delays my Hive so much, but on the other hand if I skip the chambers I get very behind in upgrades. Would like to hear what the gosu zergs here have to say about that. Thanks
Definitely not gosu, but usually you want to get one evo for carapace, and queen's nest after that. There's nothing wrong with getting queens nest before evo, or delaying hive to get a stronger tier 2 army (guess you open 3 hatch muta)

I'm not gosu, but as zerg vs terran you should put down queen's nest very fast after beginning your transition into lurkers if you are doing a 3 hatchery into muta opening. If the situation allows in the mid game, build an evolution chamber for +1 carapace upgrade before placing the queens nest.
You can add that 2nd evo chamber soon after aswell as a nydus to increase the mobility of primarily defilers and lurkers for defending your expansions.
Here you can a see good video which shows exactly what i am talking about. Watch the first game in this series played by effort. You can see that effort is under heavy pressure during the game which causes him to skip the evolution chamber and rush directly for defilers and nydus. This is a what allowed effort to stay in the game and eventually win.

This tip is the second most helpful thing I have learned since 5 years ago when a C rank player let it slip that if you spam "go" or "1a2a3a" in the pre game chat your buildings build 30% faster in game.
