Basically all the maps from last season of proleague. New maps like Wind and Cloud, and Pamir Plateu. Maps that are in GC3 are quite good too.

I had seen that one and wasn't sure at the time cause it wasn't the terran BO I remembered. But this confirms it, thank you. I love that series. I posted it in the sc2 cheese thread earlier.

In the FFE Walling page, it says that a gateway to the left is often impassable, but if it has 15 pixels how is that possible? Are the gaps summed up or is there a special way of calculating the gap. A gateway has a gap of 16 pixels on its left hand edge, and a gap of 15 pixels on its right hand edge. A zergling is 16x16 so it will always be able to fit between a gateway and something touching the left hand edge of the gateway. A zergling will not be able to fit between a gateway and something touching the right hand edge of the gateway IF that something has a gap of zero on its left hand edge. There is no protoss building with a gap of zero on its left hand edge. Therefore the only way to make a gateway ling tight using its right hand edge is to put it touching an unwalkable tile or object etc that has a gap of zero on its left hand edge. Not all cliff tiles have this property, and there are even two tiles that look identical but only 1 has the gap of zero. So either test ingame or in the editor to be sure. Note that a ghost is only 15 pixels wide so he can always fit throught this gap. In the picture below, zerglings cannot pass the right hand edge of the gateway because the cliff tile has a gap of zero on its left hand edge. + Show Spoiler + ![]()

Got to C+, but coming back (I dabbld in sc2, didnt' like it) it's hard to remember a lot of things. I have a lot of OLD replays but hoping to find a nice compendium of all 9 matchups + main BO's used for all... if one exists. Maybe just getting replays of pros in every matchup is the best way? Cheers (also I've seen the FPVODs on nevake's youtube) zimp's replay thread has a bunch of high-level replays (a lot from ex-pros) and some of those are fairly recent. For FPVODs, snipealot2 has some saved in the "Videos" section on the channel's twitch.tv page. If VODs are useful, the highest level play these days is in the SSL.

I've seen some of my friends who are pretty new to Brood War do this, but I don't remember ever doing this. I'm just wondering if its just something for beginners to use, or if I'm completely out of the loop. Simple answer: Don't do it, it's bad.

Not really, and I honestly believe it's because the pro player pool is so small. We do see a variety of strategies in each matchup but I don't think anything game changing has occured. That's just my opinion.

I'm pretty sure that it's useful in a few uncommon scenarios since I've seen video's of pro Koreans doing it but I'm not sure in which situations its used.
