Is it impossible to worker drill hydras with scvs? Been going mech lately and been hydra busted etc, but haven't seemed to work.

what do you mean by does it work
because you can drill hydras but generally youre not gonna have vision of a patch of minerals to do so

Do you need continued vision? or is it enough to just explore them? Or do you have vision on them while the drilling occurs.

i think if your worker drilling hydras trying to bust your front youve done something wrong... maybe post a replay so the more skilled ppl in the community can help you out?

I quickly scanned my sorted pack of recent (within the last 2 years exuding the last few months of BW after I quit) BW vods and saw no games of 9 p speed. All I saw was 3 games with a normal 9 p opening.
Why would I play sctoo when I can play BW?

how to deal with 1 gate with forge, expansion as follow up in zvp? can I take my third normally?

I've been watching larva (and other zergs on snipealot's stream) for some time now and in zvt they seem to hotkey zerglings and lurkers effectively but i'm having troubles with that. My hatches are already on 5 and mutalisks are 1 leaving me only with 3 hotkeys for units which is not much when you have to work with zerglings..

And when pro's have defilers at 'every' base to quickly dark swarm if an attack is coming etc, you can't hotkey those either.

Same for scourges etc some tips on how to control them better?

I'm especially having troubles when I have more units than 3 control groups with a lot of lings. It gets really hard to effectively attack and move them across the map quickly especially if the terran is attacking, pulling back, attacking, pulling back with his marine/medic attack. Most of the time i'll just lose basically all my zerglings for free and the lurkers burrow but can't even attack because he retreats fast enough. lol

Second question is easy : you can't. There are some harder custom AI out there though, maybe someone could link them.
First question is a lot harder, but I'll try :
TvP : standard opening is FD. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/FD_(vs._Protoss) . As for transition, a bit too complicated for me, and I'd probably advice to learn a two base push instead, so something like 4fact/5fact.
TvZ : opening : http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/1_Rax_FE_(vs._Zerg) . For the transition, I'd adice watching a few Flash VODs. This one for instance :

TvT : http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/1_Fact_FE_(vs._Terran) is the right opening.

Ok but top vs bottom only gives you 2 teams. The only way I've been able to set multiple teams are through team melee or team free for all and that's not really what I'm looking for.

What map features were used in maps, but were latter abandoned because they weren't viable?

And how did they effect the game?

right now I macro with control group 0 bound to one production building and use that to bounce back ( I have a mouse button bound to that). should I be using f3 or is that ok.
