[Q] Help with Corsair vs Scourge

I've been trying and failing horribly to use Corsair/Reaver (not like anything else works vs Zerg but hey). I'm having two specific problems that make it impossible: attack moving Corsair often ignore Scourge and I can't seem to defend my group of Corsairs from Scourge even when I have 7-8 Corsairs with an attack upgrade and no air armour upgrade for the Zerg, when I see pros using a similar number of Corsairs the Scourge die in huge numbers. Any ideas? A replay would just show the Corsairs firing as the scourge fly into them and kill them.

Stack the sairs by trapping a probe somewhere and just pressing hold position on the sairs when scourge get close.

Or click on min patches/gas often. It helps clump them together.

Just a by the way fact. The "critical mass" for corsairs before being completely effective against most numbers of scourge is 5.

Most of the time, I clump it up together and split it up to different direction one by one. This will test my opponent's multitask skills. If he continue focusing on chase down my Corsairs, I will move in with my army.

As a Z player, I have only won once against a player going for sair reaver, so I can`t feel your pain on this one.....

And that win came after getting some help on here.....

Progamers lose sairs to moderate numbers of scourge all the time when they have 5... I'd say the number is closer to 7-8.

5 is the number when you kill 2 scourge and dont die. 7-8 is the number when you can kill any number of scourge coming from one direction. 12 is the number when you practically become immune unless they come from everywhere.
