Calgary ProLeague Finals party at London on Heritage
Who
Expecting around 15-25 fans with a roster lineup of almost certainly MikeyMoo, Kau, Chill, me and 6-7 of my buddies that aren't superstars on TL.

FRIDAY AUG 7!!!!!! (Day 1 viewing tonight!)
10:00pm (Finals will be played at 2am in our time zone)
What
Live viewing of the 2009 ProLeague Finals between Hwaseung OZ (yay!) and SKT1 (boo!)
My setup consists of:
441 sq ft of hardwood party area
52" Sony Bravia w/XBR
3-4 computers for additional viewing/before party mini-lan
AIR CONDITIONING (something we desperatly needed at Chill's parties :D)
For food I'll have various snacks including kimchi and 2 cases of Bacchus. (Which is only
20 bottles so if you want one, I'll be charging $1 per bottle) But everything else is free!
You guys are welcome to get drunk but I won't be supplying any alcohol myself. BYOBeer!
Everyone is welcome to crash too but remember, it's a hardwood floor so if there isn't enough couch room, you might have to sleep on a rug if you don't bring your own sleeping bag haha!

By C-Train just get off at Heritage station, walk 2 mins on Horton Rd and you're there.

Basically, get on MacLeod, turn on Hull ave and turn left on Horton Rd.
* Do NOT turn on heritage dr because you can NOT turn onto Horton Rd from there. If you do, it's not a big deal, just make a U-Turn so you are going East on Heritage and turn right on Horton Rd.
PARKING
Is available across the street from the building.
If you park in visitor parking I think there is a time limit and you have to sign in.

Sounds like a great party. I'd come but driving from Winnipeg is like 14 hours. I briefly considered bringing friends and splitting gas cost but it would be easier to throw our own party here.
I'm going to see if the via rail tickets are still super cheap.

Alright guys, I've pulled out all the stops and got rid of the bullshit.
- New setup is one computer dedicated to outputting HDMI on the TV with wireless keyboard/mouse and backup wired kb/m hooked up to the ethernet outlet in the wall so there isn't cables running around everywhere
- A "command station" in the back which is the long table with 2 computers/3 monitors, also cables concealed to the sides so nothing is in the way
- 1 computer separate so there is no cheating during lan.
I took pictures but I can't find my cable to plug it into my computer o_O
Here are some things ppl can bring if they have it:
- MOUSEPADS
- Backup router!! (cause we couldn't lan yesterday)
- Food/snacks - I totally forgot to get kimchi but I do have 2 delisso pizzas and a few drinks.

Yeah, I won't be able to make it till like, midnight or one, depending on how fast I drive.

I've survived two of these so far and the others started around the same time. I'm depending on a ride to get to the ctrain station (dont want to leave my car there overnight)
I'll try and come at 10, but if I show up at like 9:30 or something would that be cool? or are you going to be busy until 10?

Corey's (razoersuke's) apartment was basically an internet cafe, lol. We had at least 5 functional computers, most of which were decked out with razer mice and one of which was hooked up to his 52" TV. I'll never forget the feeling of actually being there when a crowd of nerds started screaming (literally, at 5 in the morning) over a scarab hit. It was like our own little korea.
Had an awesome time. Thanks for everything Corey, and hopefully I'll see most of you guys again at one of these shindigs.
PS. That pizza was fucking awful. xD

Thanks razor for hosting the party, I had an awesome time! We got so loud for the BackHo match haha, we were screaming like little girls over the scarabs. xD Hopefully we can have another one of these in the future, it was a great turnout!
