If your bored out of your mind, own a ps3, want to get a little of that feeling Neo had in the matrix, try setting this up:
With the PS3's ability to allow you to install your own OS, tech junkies have been tinkering with the console's potential since its launch a few Novembers back. There is one thing we haven't seen yet, though -- and that's a PS3 running Starcraft!
Accomplished through the use of Windows 95, with Qemu and Yellow Dog Linux, you too can can crush Zerg scum with the Protoss on your PS3. (Just don't think you're going to get Crysis to run on the thing.) Linux and Qemu really hog the Cell processor, so a low-end game like Starcraft is as stable as it gets. Zerg rush past the break to watch the video.

What is up with that load time lol i guess boredom beats the overall ablity just to hook your computer up to the tv instead of making your ps3 run linux.

Outside of a gimmik though ("Look at me, I can play SC on my PS3! What can your wii do outside of having 20x more games than me?"), this isn't very useful. I remember SC on Nintendo 64 and how much of a failure playing a RTS on a controller was. That's why Halo Wars will likely be a failure as well.
Interesting, nonetheless.

needs to be an RTS for the wii. Personally I think the Wii / DS would be amazing for RTS's. They just need to do it right.

You would need to figure out how to get SC to work with the controller first. Until then you would have to use a keyboard and mouse on the PS3.

People were playing it on the old xbox too, through XDSL and Wine, with keyboards and mice.

The amount of showelware on the wii doesn't make it any better than the PS3(or 360). That's like saying Halo Wars has more units than SC, so it's better(or similar nonsense).

Waw, the loading speed on that thing is terrible. I think even my old computer could have loaded StarCraft faster then that.
I agree with Redtooth. Other then as proof of good computer knowledge, this is not particularly practical.
EDIT: Yes, the Windows 95 intro song is preety nostalgic.

lol back in the day it took exactly 75 seconds for SC to load on windows 95. It was such a nice change when I upgraded to XP
