People like to keep track of these things, and if people aren't specifically keeping track of this, they won't be able to tell how long flash was #1 on ELO. | ||

Who cares if a B rated ICCUP player now could beat boxer of 2002, that B rank ICCUP player is only "that good" because Boxer paved the way for him. The great players are great not because their level is good compared to today's players but rather because they were a mile ahead of their competition back then. | ||

Then you could have discussed it without the giggly fan comment. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a thread purely about ELO rankings already but if there isn't then fine. There obviously weren't 45 pages of discussion purely on ELO peaks. I just didn't see the relevance of whether or not the guy likes Jaedong. | ||
