Probably, if he gets to 2475 or something, then at that point every win will probably be at max 1 or 2 points, with a loss being 15-20 points lol. But I guess... its physically possible... if he like 50-0's his opponents To be honest, I thought 2450 was pretty impossible as well... it's like he had to play like a god and then some more... 25-2 since his loss vs midas i mean cmon... 1 loss tvz and 1 loss tvp since his last starleague finals, redicoulus, absolutely redicoulus. Flash, you are redicoulus!

However, I want Jaedong to be the GOAT, and the guy that is invincible in bo5s, and the most successful player ever, so he'll have to take down the monster in a bo5 again in the MSL finals. Does Jaedong have it in him? He always did, and he always stepped up when it came to the real series. I'm sad JD's vP peak got broken though T_T, but thats mainly due to him not getting any ZvPs at all this season. He just needs to crush Flash in another bo5 to keep that vZ peak though. Well, you have a point. Jaedong has a good record (think he always wins but just to be safe) against Flash in BO5. However, I am hopeful that Flash will step up this time and take the BO5 against Jaedong assuming Jaedong beats Calm. And there is a threat to Jaedong's vs Z peak. Flash 3-0s Effort and then 3-0s the MSL Finals. Although, this is very far from certain to happen, it is plausible.

Not to worry. I do lans with a couple kids who spell it rediculas. And they're native speakers D: Anyway talk about 2500 being difficult: well yeah. Earlier in the thread people were saying 2400 was not possible. Granted 2500 is that much harder, but I wouldn't put anything past him. Seeing what he did with Protoss, his erstwhile weaker matchup, I wouldn't be surprised if he could raise the other two like that. And everyone saw how demoralized or cowed Free was. He was partly intimidated into his losses. If Flash keeps going and building a mystique, I could see it like a snowball heading downhill gathering size, a vicious circle wherein everyone is afraid to play him and loses because of it and perpetuates everything. Probably not (at least not the the level required for 2500) but who knows. Maybe I'll get to quote this one day.

Although if he 3-0s both finals he might be quite close to 2500 due to JD still having a very high ELO. But in all honesty, can anyone imagine JD losing 0-3 ...

The best he can do is ~2470, if Jaedong and Kal win their semifinals and he 3-0s both. If Effort and/or Calm win, that number goes down since they're not rated as high as Kal & Jaedong.

I remember myself and a friend discussing the last MSL finals the night before they happened, and we both independently came up with 70-30 odds in favor of Flash. But we didn't take into account the fact that JD is really good at bo5s, practices nonstop, and has countless build variations up his sleeves. Obviously we didn't foresee the power outage either, lol. But Flash is just so dominant. Obviously, if anyone can beat Flash now, it's JD. No Terran or Protoss is going to dethrone Flash right now. The only weakness I can think of is 2hatch muta. 2hatch muta, properly executed, gives Flash a chance to make a micro mistake, and have that mistake snowball into a loss, because he chooses to play such greedy builds (in past games, he refused to get a 3rd rax to pump extra marines even after scouting the 2hatch mutas). But, with clever tactics, Jaedong's evo lurker build could do some damage too. If he wins both leagues, he'll be cemented as the best player ever to play the game IMO. The question is, what next? Will he lose his motivation after reaching the top of the mountain, like others have before him? This is a very exciting time. It would be so disappointing if JD somehow lost to Calm.
