Honestly, Jaedong's "Recent games page" is quite scary as well right now... a pity he's not godly vs T ;-/

I really feel they both deserve the B word, one for being at the top for 2+ straight years, always being challenged, be it by bisu, flash or even stork, but still being at the top of his game and setting the pace for such a long period of time, except these last few months ; and the other one for his sheer domination since september...

Haha, oh wow.

I'm sorry but Jaedong is nowhere near close to bonjwa level. The best case scenario for him would be an MSL win, which would still not be enough.

jaedong was playing better in 2009, but he's definitely stepping it up. however, jaedong has never shown the consistency and domination flash has been showing right now. so how can jaedong be labeled as bonjwa with the skeptism about even bestowing the title on flash?

Why the title isn't given out nowadays is probably based on nostalgia of the concept.
People want to remember the good old times as better, but they should embrace this moment since we're reliving such a dominance, but on a higher level.

Honestly as a Jaedong fan, I dont really care, Flash is the more dominant and more solid player overall and is worthy of being a super bonjwa.

However, I want Jaedong to be the GOAT, and the guy that is invincible in bo5s, and the most successful player ever, so he'll have to take down the monster in a bo5 again in the MSL finals. Does Jaedong have it in him? He always did, and he always stepped up when it came to the real series.

I'm sad JD's vP peak got broken though T_T, but thats mainly due to him not getting any ZvPs at all this season. He just needs to crush Flash in another bo5 to keep that vZ peak though.

Very true. I'm not fussed about it though to be honest, I think once people are able to get some hindsight everyone will end up agreeing on what ought to be obvious right now

I'm actually more terrified to see Flash's Kespa rating if we wins all of these series, it's going to be beyond absurd if he pulls it off.

Yeah, he's the only one. And no, it's gonna take a bit to get to 2500, though if he 3-0s in both finals he's gonna be pretty close, I think. Also, this is the 9th time Flash breaks the ELO record.

No, it's going to be a huge trial for him to get 2500. The higher your Elo is relative to the players you play against, the less Elo gain you win from winning a game and the more Elo you lose from losing a game. Consider Jaedong is second in Elo and is still over 100 points behind him, and Free is third in Elo and is over 200 points behind him. He doesn't get THAT much Elo from winning a game, but as soon as he loses one, his Elo drops by 10-20 points because of the difference.

By that point in time, it would seem that even if he beats JD he'll barely get any ELO points. Probably, if he gets to 2475 or something, then at that point every win will probably be at max 1 or 2 points, with a loss being 15-20 points lol. But I guess... its physically possible... if he like 50-0's his opponents
