Will he lose his motivation after reaching the top of the mountain, like others have before him? As long as Flash keeps his current mindset, he's just gonna keep going up and up. He's always saying he has a lot to improve, like his "mountain" doesn't really have an end. If he can maintain that, he's gonna keep his status for a long time, he's also really young.

i dont think flash will loose interest atleast until he wins the proleague finals for his team. im pretty shure he wants this as much as the double title. after that sc2 will be out and no one knows what exactly will happen then.

Well, unless if Blizzard and KeSPA come to terms by then, what will happen is that bw will remain an esport and proleague and both leagues will keep going, as well as the progaming teams. I don't see Flash retiring for a long while, he has no reason to. Eventually someone else will surpass him (or he'll die of old age, one of the two). Even if an agreement happens and sc2 becomes an esport and gets its own teams (and/or subteams of current teams), a lot of progamers from bw will not be making the switch off the bat. Some (like Light) have stated that they have no intention of switching over, and will retire when bw 'dies'. Either way, bw will be around for as long as there is interest from fans, and so for the foreseeable future, we do know what will happen.

+ Show Spoiler +Yep, those losses will tank his ELO tonight. 0-2... bahaha who was right now, Jalstar?

Mark my words. After losing 3-2 to Jaedong, he'll go on a rampage achieving a record 66-0 winning streak, totally demolishing the game of starcraft itself.

+ Show Spoiler +Another bump for the people who complain that this thread spoils Flash's games
Also, those 2 losses are gonna send him down to 2409, if my calculations are right
effort will gain 16 up to 2226 and snow will gain 18 up to 2077

+ Show Spoiler +How much vP ELO will Jaedong have?
|
+ Show Spoiler +2305, still quite a bit off Flash's peak. there's really no one with high enough PvZ elo to give him a ton of points, either
|
+ Show Spoiler +Actually that ELO is false. For some reason TLPD counts Jaedong against Flying twice, so when that is fixed I'd imagine he'll be somewhere around 2298-2299. He would only need about 4 more wins against decent PvZ players to beat Flash (though I'd imagine it will take another year before he gets 4 games vs protoss)

Flash lost 41 vP ELO for losing against Snow.

31, but still...
And this means that the individual match-up rank do not play by the same rules as the total rank, seems like the K value is twice as big or something.

Snow's PvT ELO peak is already in the top10 only rivaled by the dragons and other great pvt players
Jaedong is the only player with a matchup over 2300 atm.
