my uber team always seems to stumble at one part of the season.... i was having free-reign over the competition (never got to an ace match) then out of no where cj 3-2's me. not yet, I just went 20-2 (or 21-2 counting the finals) I lost to KTF and KHAN early on, I was being kind of lazy that season.. Midas and Bisu both made Ro8 (20-3 season for Midas before post season I think) I'm playing with out of the box SKT1, I think I would manage a perfect season if I just focused more on those matches I don't feel are important to my end goal (or spent a season just saving cash then maxing out the gear on my starting lineup and blasting through the next one) I think my goal should be perfect season and then take the starleague (which is sort of a pipedream anyways...still only won the first time, and that guy hasn't made it past Ro32 since)
Ive came pretty close with Samsung a few times.
Can anyone explain exactly how fanmeetings work please?

Hold a Fan Meeting: for 200 action points you are given a sum of money by holding a fan meeting. Go to player action screen. click on the third icon (hold fan meeting) Select the players you want to hold it. (requires 200 action points.) Click run. Funds are placed in your reserves.
I don't know the algorithm used to determine funds.
Tip: Use the players who aren't going to play regularly.

not to sound like a jerk or anything but i dont see why many people say this game is hard, try to use common sense and put the players you're gonna use on maps that fit they're style of play (like putting flash and any other macro oriented players on monty hall and not maps like neo requiem and the opposite for jaedong and more control/harass players)
anyways restarted my file as ACE using the translated version and now im season 5 with 1 PL win and 3 consistent RO16 and higher SL players (Flash, Bisu, and OversKy...Casy on and off) and YellOw improved a lot from what he starts out with (beat fake YellOw on neo requiem ). the players i use on my team the most are (ill try to put it in order from best to worst): Flash, Jaedong, Bisu, OversKy, Casy, and BoxeR

I still don't understand how to trade, I'm at the screen with "scout trade fire" or w/e but it won't let me do shit, I've figured out how to Fire but that's it.

Also, do TrainGames actually accomplish anything besides having Orion somehow beat Much? His stats don't go up or anything.

pick a player from your team and a player from the team u want. the trade option will only appear if u have enough points for the trade. same thing goes for scouting

i think train games are to try out players on maps so you can see how they work out (like i figured out the BoxeR is really good in monty hall despite having garbage macro, its probably due to his high strategy). someone clarify if im wrong

for KTF:
use Flash in Macro heavy maps (Harmony, etc.) and those that favor T (Plasma, etc.)
purchase a ring, k-sharp, and m-sharp to lux and flash. this is how i won season 1 and came 2nd in season 3 and 4 (proleague). Lux keeps getting to ro4 but gets eliminated weirdly (either he wins the first game and drops the next 2 or loose to horrible players), and flash never gets past ro8 for me. Maybe because i use them alot in PL.
Also Lucifer and Tempest are good for Macro Maps that favors P (Destination, etc.). Tempest is my Destination Sniper and 815 is a good backup for lux.
Hery is Useless and SaiR is very very good in maps with very short base distance (there are loads if you get lucky with map pool in the laters seasons)
Also a hax tip. After the season, I save my game first then check the map pool, if the map pool doesnt favor my players, i press the reset button and load again until i have maps that favor my players. This was also how I got Nal_rA, by reseting when he is not on the recruit list.
And yes, The gum helps alot.
So i hope this helps some of the KTF users.

Mind is so clutch season 1 and 2 he won SL both times and carried my team to finals both times.

This game is so hard with CJ, although Orion and Kwanro really step up at times.

went on a 6-0 streak at the start of my first season with estro, then finished up 8-13 or so

I'm working on a CJ walkthrough/strat guide as a sort of challenge.
It may take me a week to figure it out.
I went like 12-10 on first try, narrowly missing the playoffs. It took me the first half of the season to figure out my strategy.. the second half I had a good 8 game win streak. Lineup: Iris, Much, Kwanro, Savior. Backup: Darkelf Ace: Iris, Much as Backup.
The whole idea is to build a powerful high attack based team. I don't know many of the other players yet though, I am working on the spreadsheet of the team.
We'll see how I do with my next attempt.

You should try to incorporate Xellos into your team, he's quite a solid terran. I found I could get about a ~60% win rate out of him by playing him on terran advantaged maps.

Xellos is so unpredictable though I went through the first 2 seasons with him going something like 10-15 and on only terran favored maps

I subbed XellOs when Iris was too low condition to play. He managed to win his match, but his style didn't seem suited to my overall gameplan.
I managed to get Iris Attack at about 950 and Defense about the same (Macro over 900 also) while xellos was his usual 650-750 stats, which isn't bad, but he went 0-4 against Iris in the In-Team matches (he also lost to Savior and Much in similar fashion.)
That doesn't mean XellOs is bad, he just needs to be developed with good equipment, training, and positive results in-game.
A lot of it would depend on the maps for the season and when I am playing teams he can outplay.

Personally I think XellOs isn't worth it, even though I'm sure with proper raising he could be a monster but that's true for most people

I've been looking, but I can't seem to find out where/how you USE items

Assuming you mean items like gum and vitavita it's after you choose which map you put your players on you click the map and then click which item you want to use

Also ceremony seems bugged
