I'm completely failing, what's the general strategy to get your players to perform well? :/ (I'm using KTF) Use the condition training, ALWAYS BUY GUM, start out with hot packs on your main players. Also dont count on Flash to win you alot, his stats are good but he loses, Alot.

- Use players on maps that favor them (IE; play Best on a P-favoured map with high resources). - Don't use players when their condition is below ~95%. - The 'Rest' action is really useful, it's pretty much all I need to get through a season with all of my main guys above 95% condition. - Don't spend your money on stat-boosting items until you have a solid team of good players. - Most zergs blow chunks, only a few like JD, July, and the twins are worth getting early on. Later on some of the other zergs can become monsters (Like in one of my games, By.Great has 900+ in just about everything).

![]() + Show Spoiler + ![]() Bogus is my ACE player just for laughs but now hes 2-0 after he beat boxer in a few minutes. EDIT: 3-0, he just beat savior on NeoHarmony. Great game by the way, I just wish July didn't slump so hard.

1. Develop the Team Around a Star Your team needs to be built around someone. While it is important to strive for a solid lineup and backup you can count on in the clutch, I find it helpful to overload one of your teams top players with preferred treatment. By that I mean baby him with the Vita Drink to keep his condition up around 95+, get him a K-SILVER Mouse and Keyboard, throw that power ring on him, buy him a monitor, and pop some gum in his mouth. If you can't afford the best gear, I suggest a Mickey Mouse, Umbrella keyboard, and Wrist warmers. It might be unnecessary as I spent my third season without a lot of gear and just saved money (in order to purchase Nal_Ra and Boxer for sentimental reasons...) Alternate between resting and practicing to help boost his stats throughout the season. My team was SKT1 and my star was BeSt. BeSt finished Season III at 22 W 3 L before the playoffs. He led the team in stats all three seasons and won the first Starleague (although that seems to be a lot of luck.) and as I have stopped buying him equipment he's at 74-28. 2.The Star needs Wingmen for Support After running some in-house tournaments to figure out our strongest players (and simply judging their stats) I picked one player as my Stars main support. On SKT1 Bisu was the obvious choice. I outfitted Bisu with similar gear as BeSt once it was affordable. His record was 17-6, although a lot of that was me sending him out without his gum or vita drink on accident. Overall he made Ro4 in Season 1, Ro32 in Season 2, and Ro16 in Season 3. 64-31 record overall. My second wingman was Midas. Midas had solid stats all around and could win consistently. He posted a final record of 13-9 by the end of the regular season, and managed Ro4 in Season 3 losing to SangHo (who is pretty beastly.) Previously he made the Ro16 in our worst season. Overall he's 53-35. With those guys I rest and train consistently through the season. At the end of Season 3, I transitioned Midas into my star, buying him all the best equipment. He has a number of stats above 1000 now and in these seasons in-house tournament he is consistently beating BeSt and Bisu. Develop a B-Team It is good to keep a second string of players who may even be congruent to your Big Three in ability. My 4th place player was Canata (8-3) who usually earns his way into Ro32 or Dual Tournament, My 5th place player is GoRush (he didn't compete in Season 3, I kept him training with all his action points though) and he had some big wins in the first season. My 6th place player is Fantasy, who I also spend time developing his stats in training, and should Canata or Midas be out of comission I run him in the matches. Milk the Money All my "scrubs" spend their action points on holding fan meetings. Something like 11 players or so spending every 200 action points on fan meetings boosts your funds significantly. I used the money to outfit Midas in superstar gear, acquire Boxer from ACE (trading Mujuk) and purchasing Nal_Ra from the free agent pool. In season 3 in every match we would go Bisu, BeSt, Midas, then Canata. Most games we would 3:0 it, except CJ seemed to have our number. My team went 16-6, 16-6, and 19-3(+39) We won the playoffs three seasons in a row. Now I am trying mad scientist stuff, like loading Boxer with attack poisons and seeing how much damage he does when he heals his condition back... going to try different gear configurations too. I don't recommend save hacking to those who are trying to learn the game, it is true you can make a pretty wicked team, but it is kind of against the spirit of the game. Other people have posted a good summary: Use gum. Keep condition up. Rest and Train. Pick players who are advantageous to the maps.

Midas and Bisu both made Ro8 (20-3 season for Midas before post season I think) I'm playing with out of the box SKT1, I think I would manage a perfect season if I just focused more on those matches I don't feel are important to my end goal (or spent a season just saving cash then maxing out the gear on my starting lineup and blasting through the next one) I think my goal should be perfect season and then take the starleague (which is sort of a pipedream anyways...still only won the first time, and that guy hasn't made it past Ro32 since)

No matter what you do, your best players suck ass and the more they lose, the more their abilities go down the drain, I never have money for equipments/items yet all the other teams are fully equipped. I played 17 seasons without cheating, that enough for you, Mr Internet justice? I have Lecaf with: Luxury, Stork, Flash, Jaedong, BackHo, BeSt, fOrGG, HiyA, Young, GGPlay, Juni, Anytime, Really and zergjoaa and my record over 17 seasons is 114-263 (sets: 577-938). So tell me, should I get MORE stars maybe? They ALL slump and end up with HORRIBLE stats (eg: stork is under 600 in ever stat, regardless of training and resting, just because he went on a slump that led into a bigger slump that led him into a shitty b-class scrub). Seriously I just want someone to point out the line to edit or something ... not give me an ethics class about how cheating (in a single player) is so wrong and evil.

Ethics or not, I'm not sure why you would be getting worked over so badly. Do you keep their condition up above 95%? As far as money, take all your non-players and make them hold fan meetings as soon as they hit 200 Action points. Do this all season long! With that team I think my lineup would be: Really BeSt Jaedong Stork I would save the money you get from Fan Meetings for the K-Silver equipment and Power Ring for Jaedong, Best, or Really ASAP. The other guys would probably get wrist warmers, a mickey mouse, and an umbrella keyboard as the season progresses. Try to keep 8 Vita Drinks on hand for your lineup (even moreso than the other gear), and keep curing Really, Best, and Jaedong (if that is your starting three) since their condition will drop often. If that doesn't work, you can send me your save file for 17 seasons and I can see if I can come up with a strategy to pull your guys out of their slump!
