Aww fuck I really liked RA II one of the most unique maps around and brought some really cool tvz plays.
Pretty soon Luna is going to be back at this rate...
Or maybe peaks...or even unlikelier...nostalgia?
Hopefully rh3 is going to limit all the protoss trends.

Not comparing, Luna is considerably balanced and with this map shuffling going around for the sake of balanced competition, its possible i t might get resurrected.
Rh3 is balanced with some sketchy scenarios in PvT, but its got flair and style, especially when it comes down to those TvZs. Such sick tvzs pvzs on this map.

This is going to affect team structures. ZvZ specialist won't have so much weight since RAII is out and RH3 doesn't enforce ZvZ or sending out a sniper T. I don't think it will help T1 that much, since their zergs royally suck in all mu's, but other teams might be able to liberate their zergs for other maps and mu's.
I feel sorry for UpMagic, but he can still come out on Requiem.
Btw, bringing in an island map would be nice. A nice island map from time to time it's fun to watch. I'm all for it.

This is much better now, hopefully Harmony has been changed that way there is less TvT. This promotes more non mirror games (because zergs cant trust mirror strength anymore).

Rush Hour THree was a nice map glad its back :D
And like others have said hopefully this new Harmony is going to be more balanced, the map seems to have too much potential for it to be scrapped in my opinion. So, this is a great change.

Kespa is trying to contain the abnormal Protoss ownage by bringing back a TvP imba map.
RH3 PvT: 6-18 (25%) Stats like that don't lie.

As long as it decreases the amount of mirrors (i.e ZvZ on RA2), I'm all for it. Also, I love games on Rush Hour, so many memorable games.
I think P's have gotten significantly better in playstyle since the last time they played this map so I doubt it will be the imba people say it was.

I think RA3 had another round in it of TvZs using the 1 base mech/valc/fantasy build.
Edit: RA3 got better as time went on and I think Kespa pulled it prematurely since their seemed to be a lot more TvZs at the end of the round than at the beginning of the round. (and the Terrans were actually winning convincingly for the most part)

Can a toss tell me if it's possible to do a standard FE on this map? It looks pretty much impossible. It wasn't mentioned in the Forge FE walling guide on the strategy forum, but I don't know if that's because it's not done, or if it's because it was too old at the time of the post.

It's almost impossible for protoss to fe, but at least it has an uphill ramp. 1 base tech pvz will still be viable.

RH3 had a lot of amazing games on it. I'll be very interested to see how modern Ps will deal with the previous Z>P imbalance with the new style Protoss.
I remember Ps had an immense problems of FEing vs 3 hatch (or 4 hatch) range hydras.

yea and in PvT's defense Oov was a monster during its use. And July was also a Demon. Lots of playtime on this map too.

Nope I'm pretty sure he played it during his finals vs Nal_ra and several proleague games. Lost the most on the map, comparatively to the other maps to people like Canata in his prime.
Yeah just checking tlpd he only had like a 50-60% win rec on that, pretty low for his prime.
Lost a few with similar percentages on rh1-2 as well.
Then again, savior had this weird ability to dominate on hard maps for zvt and less more so on balanced maps.

I remember everyone talking about how great savior's build for that map was, or was it rh2. 3 hatch mutas with early lings for backstab. He totally played rh during his dominance period

it was definitely the beginning of his prime.. During his first starleague win ever(savior vs reach finals), they had Rush Hour as a map, then in the next starleague where he finished 2nd to chojja they had rush hour 2.. and finally in his next star league win, they had rush hour 3.. so he's very familiar with rush hour.. prolly moreso than any other map.
