to everyone else -- i hate to suggest this without having the time to help, but I bet the OP FConnectionUK would be less likely to burn out if other people chipped in to help with the timing/synching, probably a good way to learn starcraft-korean as well. a teamliquid fansubbing group?

seems like the timing would be doable to reasonable accuracy knowing just a small dictionary of player names and korean terms (e.g. multi=expansion), matching up the anchor words that you hear with the translated text.

Hi FConnectionUK, I didn't know about your subtitles until just a few hours ago. I've downloaded the latest Iris vs Jaedong match and saw it. Loved it, so this is what the Koreans are saying. Pure entertainment. I then downloaded your first subtitle release of Kal vs Kwanro and enjoyed it also. Thanks for the service man, this is my first time watching a vod with a completely different experience. It was great. Thanks.

I uploaded the VOD and subtitle to the tracker, I hope that was ok. I'll be seeding for as long as I can, so grab it from there if you can't get megaupload to work. Torrent

just wondering if you could do the Savior vs Bisu MSL s1 Finals Subtitles, game 1 would be awesome! Always wanted to know their reaction seeing as how Savior was the Bonjwa of the time and bisu was basically "unknown"!

They shout sooo much during the game!

This sounds great, but... I don't know how to use subtitle files, or how to make this work.

Tried VCL player, get tons of errors, and the player wont load.
In windows media player, i get sound, but no picture. Same happend with realplayer.

So.. what do I play it with.. I have

결승전 르까프 vs CJ 1세트 이제동 vs 변형태.avi
Playoff Final game 1.smi

in same folder.

assuming I have to start up the avi with a valid player, and let the avi player know where the sub file is? but how, and with which player, am I missing your codec? :-)

this worked for me..

rename both files to game1.avi and game1.smi

then just play the avi and it works automaticly ( in winamp )
